Nicabar's presence caused pain to ripple through Aurum, for many different reasons, but he knew that he had to get through it. Later on, when things were more stable, he could question the child further. Maybe try and see if he knew of any the souls that lingered within him. For now, however, Nicabar was just a scared and hungry child in a strange land, and the angel would treat him as such, even if it felt like his entire body was aflame with guilt, and pain. Taking a deep breath inward, the lion was relieved to hear that Nicabar wasn't hurt, muttering in response to the boy's question, "We... we have a tavern. With plenty of food stores, and drinks... including water. I'll take you to it, if you just follow me. You can eat and drink something, and figure out where you'd like to go from here, or if you wanna stay..." He was, indeed, desperate for Nicabar to stay, so that he might have a chance to see his sister once again, but he wouldn't force it upon him. For now, he just turned and flicked his tail as he headed off in the direction of town, shifting his wings as a signal for the other Tanglers to follow, if they wanted.
