• Age restriction: We only allow individuals over 16 years of age to join.
• Respect: Be respectful to your fellow BoB members! We are all-inclusive website and take pride in that. This includes mini-modding. Report any harmful messages to staff and do not handle it yourself.
• OOC account required: An out-of-character (OOC) account is required for roleplaying on Beasts of Beyond.
• Spam: Posting repeatedly, especially to gain gems, or advertising other websites is not allowed.
• Plagarism: Stealing content from other users, including art and post template theft, is strictly forbidden. We also DO NOT allow AI artwork or writing.

• RPG rating: Beasts of Beyond is rated a 2-1-3 website according to RPG Rating. There are some limitations on language (no slurs), use of mild innuedos is permitted (no explicit content), and heavy violence is allowed.
• IC accounts required: Every character MUST have an in-character (IC) account. Characters being played by the same roleplayer in the same posts, such as twins or multi-headed characters, are an exception.
• Character limit: There is no character limit at the moment.
• Word limit: There is no word limit.
• Powerplay: Powerplay is not allowed unless approved by the roleplayer beforehand. Use phrases like 'attempted' or 'tried' when attempting to attack other characters.
• Meta-gaming: Characters cannot use OOC knowledge ICly.
• God-modding: Your character should not be invincible or able to destroy all the enemies in their path. Balance them accordingly.
• Technology: All technology, including weaponry, should be limited to the stone age.
• Purchasing powers: You must purchase a power for each iteration of it. For example, if two of your characters both have invisibility, they both must have a copy.
• Extortion of mutations: Extorting mutations to create a mythical creature or a bipedal animal is not allowed.
• Griefing: Destruction of a group or character's property requires the leader's/roleplayer's permission.

While Beasts of Beyond is a mature roleplay, some topics still need to be labelled appropriately or are not allowed to be explored. This list is subject to change. (NOTE: This list is arranged alphabetically and by color, not by level of sensitivity.)
RED = Banned topic
ORANGE = Can be mentioned/hinted at very loosely with minor detail, mainly in a character's past, and needs a trigger warning.
YELLOW = Can be mentioned/hinted at in detail, but needs a trigger warning.
GREEN = A topic with no restrictions.
