Aurum was a lion who, at this point, had lived many lives. He had lived within The Typhoon briefly, within Tanglewood, within the Knights, out in the loner lands, and back with his original pride when he was just a cub. Prior to his current time in both Elysium and Tanglewood, the angel had been forced to adjust several times to new surroundings, as well as get used to new names, faces, and places. It was honestly sort of amazing how adaptable he was at this point, although he was fairly sure that was just something he had developed from being treated so rigidly as a child. After months upon months of his parents treating him more like a soldier than a son, it was only natural that Aurum would want to branch out, and meet – as well as care for – as many different people as he possibly could. The thought brought a faint smile to his face – which only grew when Sib formed a little pile of snow to rest his chin upon, a little chuckle leaving the lion. He supposed it was a good idea, save for the cold that immediately made Siborno wince. Letting out a soft hum, the male found himself nodding afterwards, "It's really no problem. Most of the people here are nice, if not a little bit eccentric... I'm sure they'll be a fan of you in no time." Aurum was well aware of how intimidating Siborno could seem at first glance, especially with the language barrier, but he was also pretty sure he was beginning to see what was down inside – and it was nice.
Speaking of the language barrier, the feline couldn't say he was surprised by the hybrid's offer to teach him some Russian in exchange for learning English, but that didn't diminish his excitement at the prospect. He had always enjoyed learning new things, and mutually teaching each other would not only hopefully make them closer together, but would give him excuses to ask questions about the other male without coming off as weird. Honestly, Aurum just wanted to make a new friend of Sib, especially since it seemed as though the other had been quite the loner before this. With his tail flicking happily behind him, the lion offered Siborno a grin and a nod of his head, his voice coming out in a soft chuff, "That sounds like it would be fun, I think I'd like that. English can be a bit complex with all the little rules it has, but I'll try my best to teach you right, provided you do the same." He didn't have any doubts that Sib would try his hardest to teach him Russian well, although he had a feeling the teaching would be a little bit difficult both ways, at least at first. After all, there was still a barrier between them, and they needed to be able to communicate rules and concepts effectively.
