BODIE
Shoooot, this place was beautiful! His mocha-colored visionaries had never laid upon a land so vibrant and tropical. As someone who had been raised in the high Sierras, who knew practically every rock crevice and every crack in the roads, he had yet to see the ocean itself. Bodie had seen pictures of it, of course. There were parks near and on the ocean; at least from what he had seen on the map, anyways. Maybe one day, he had once thought to himself, he would be given the opportunity to visit a beach. The sand, the sun, the salty air, the waves; it was all there for him to experience.
He never thought that he'd be making the trek alone, though.
His handler had gone out hiking, far much longer than Bodie had anticipated, so he had decided to up and find him on his own. He had traveled deep into the mountains and valleys, though in a few weeks time, it looked like he was all by himself. Bodie had hills upon hills to explore, and once he had finally surpassed them all, that was when he saw the distant island civilization. It was intriguing; it seemed that there was abandoned railroad tracks leading towards the land. Thankfully, the tide hadn't swallowed them, and so Bodie could follow along with dry paws.
The German Shepherd trotted along towards the main entrance, his ID tag dangling from his black collar. He arrived at the entrance, peering up at the various names and symbols scratched into the walls and the signs. Bodie, having no knowledge of the clans, was quite confused. Oh well; it didn't hurt to see if anyone was out there. "Hey! Anyone around?" He barked.
