More bickering between Aphra and Inferno, of course. The two could not be in any situation together, or it would go haywire. It was almost becoming an annoyance, everyone had a general idea that Aphra was confrontational, surely, but Inferno should have known better than others, given how she was much older than the current rabble of spawn that the woman had brought to the ranks of the Coalition. At the very least, it was almost expected that arguments would break out if not careful which words were used around their mother.
Choosing to ignore both, however, Angel looked back down at the goopy dragonet and her book of flowers. The corner of his mouth twitched as if he wanted to smile at the forgetful little lizard...slug...thing. "No, it's not mine. I don't really have books on botany...on plants." The correction came a moment too late, but he figured Lethe would forget the potentially strange word before she had the time to consider what it meant. Although, despite not being his area of expertise, he couldn't help but look over and try to get some visuals of the colored pictures, blocking out the background noise that meant nothing to him. Minus the bit about feeding the baby some poisonous flowers, but even he hardly expected Aphra to do something to stupid. She would have been in huge trouble for an assassination of one of their own. Of course, he didn't have to vocalize that, a much better figure delivering the line. Spotted ears raised at the voice of the Kingpin, glancing upwards with about as much respect as he could muster last minute. "Ah...hello Sojourn." Was that too much? Mmm, he didn't think so. It was being polite.
Favorite flower, favorite flower...what would he say his was? Many made it into the final round for his decision, truly, but only one had the honor of his mind wandering back to it. "A favorite...a would say roses are rather pretty. Not particularly dangerous, but the thorns will hurt you." He could have offered the knowledge that the flowers themselves were plenty edible, but the thorns would have sliced up a small dragon who didn't always think before acting, and he would have felt his soul leave his body if forced to witness something tear up what made the plant so lovely to look at.
