SOOTHSAYER ❝ ROAN ❞ THE TYPHOON
Diya was not someone that Roan knew a great deal about, mainly by choice. He had been angry when she had dropped off the face of the earth, believing that she had hurt his mama unforgivably when she left. His anger had been as clear as day when Diya had first returned, his words cold as he had welcomed her back into The Typhoon. However, since then, his anger had dulled slightly, noting just how happy the feline seemed to make Roxanne. He was still unsure of how much he trusted her – after all, his mama had been hurt repeatedly before – but he wouldn't be outright hostile to her, anymore. Besides if his mama had trusted her enough to move in with her... he supposed that he could trust her as well, on some level.
Despite this, Roan couldn't help the slight surprise that flicked across his face when he ran into Diya, the soothsayer immediately able to identify the slight wince of pain on her face. The siamese hesitated for a moment before he said, his tail flicking back and forth behind him, "I missed her...? Oh, well, it's not that big of a deal." It wasn't as if he couldn't find her later, or just leave the herbs in her and Diya's home. When the other asked him if he'd like to go after Roxie, he shook his head from side to side, explaining casually, "It's alright, I don't need to go after her. I just came here to drop off a few herbs for her." He turned to rifle through his bag, grabbing onto a mouthful of the herbs that he had brought with him. Placing the herbs down on the nearest safe surface, he muttered softly, "I thought perhaps she could use them, just be sure to tell her I came over, so that she doesn't let them go to waste." He was sure that he could count on Diya for that, since he had little doubt that she and his mama spoke daily.
He was tempted just turn and go right then and there, but if his suspicions were correct... it would probably be in the best interests of everyone for him to learn more about the other. Glancing over Diya, the medic hesitated for a moment before he spoke, "Are you alright...? You seem as though you're in pain." Most wouldn't be able to identify a headache just from a few sparse glances at someone, but Roan wasn't like most. Rather than focusing on combat or stealth, like most of the rest of the group, the young draconic feline had always been more focused on health, and medicine. He was proud of his knowledge, even if it occasionally brought him a great deal of stress.
