A walker mech. The idea sounded totally foreign and strange to Aurum, and sounded more like it belonged in one of the many science fiction stories that he had once read. Still, most of what Clony did and said thus far seemed to be that way, so why would anything change now? Even so, the angel didn't want to just write off the other's ingenuity, even if such a device would absolutely never work in any sort of practical way. Maybe if it was anyone else, Aurum would've been a bit more honest and straightforward with them. However, Clony seemed to have this sort of childlike innocence about it. Well, aside from the swearing, that was. The lion wasn't overly eager to smash apart that childlike innocence, or destroy Clony's sense of odd confidence, so he just found himself nodding his head along like a proud parent, hoping that would convey the message he desired. Thankfully, he was fairly sure that Clony was so absorbed in its own ideas that it wouldn't even notice his lack of speaking. It seemed to fill up the air with its own excited chattering anyways, especially when Rin decided to come over and try offering some better paper to work on. Aurum had his doubts that any new paper wouldn't meet the same unfortunate fate as the old, but he could hope.
When Clony continued to chatter on about its invention, it soon became clear that Clony intended for the device to be used against the gods. The very same gods that Aurum had unfortunately bore witness to attacking the group not too long ago. The mental image of an overly confident Clony jumping behind a sloppily smashed together collection of metal, only to be crushed beneath the feet of some horrible god, flashed in his mind, and he had to swallow back bile. With a shiver going down his spine, the lion explained softly, "I see... well, you know, even if an invention doesn't work out, it's not the end of the world, you know? That's just... something to keep in mind, if you decide to make this... walker mech thing." The angel had hardly known Clony for any considerable amount of time yet, but that didn't mean that he wanted the creature dead. As such, he tried to strike a delicate balance between not hurting its feelings, and also making sure that it didn't go flinging itself over confidently into unnecessary danger.
