DELILAH EVERGARDEN
"The Gods have forsaken us."
While the warmth of her still soft cocoon was something she didn't want to leave, the coldness of being lonely remained. She couldn't explain it- as if someone was waiting for her. The patient feeling making her calm inside of her shell.
Delilah had been sick for a while, but never spoke of it to anyone. The black goo that dripped from her mouth, the very black igor that poured from her eye sockets. She was impure, and the curse her mother had placed on her had been activated from flashbacks of her trauma. Contagious. She was bound to make others sick, so she stayed away from her home. Away from Renegade and their adopted child. Flint would be confused, but her little spitfire could handle this much.
This was just a minor hiccup.
She could vaguely hear the sound of someone talking- two people. The familiar scent of her boyfriend- Renegadeanthems.. She missed him so.
Warm..
Her mind idly wished she'd never have to leave this place. Never have to leave this cocoon, but her more reasonable side told her that she couldn't stay asleep for long.
She was home, though. That's all that mattered.
