It wasn't actually that often that Wormwood ended up indulging in sweet treats. It wasn't for a lack of a sweet tooth – he actually had quite a bit of a sweet tooth, and always had since he was just a little cub – but just because he wasn't really that much of a baker. Since he couldn't make sugary goodies for himself, and felt bad about forcing others to make them for him, it often led to him not consuming as many baked treats as he would've liked. So, when he heard Indie's call for anyone who would want peanut butter or sugar cookies, he immediately felt his entire body perk up in interest, his wings lifting right after his head as he slowly got up to his paws. He waited for a few others to show up ahead of him so that he didn't look too eager before he ambled on over, his head tilted to one side and a little up so that he could take in the delicious scent of cookies. He could already feel his mouth watering in excitement at the prospect of chomping down something sweet and sugary, and he wiped his muzzle off with a paw before speaking to Indie, smiling, "A sugar cookie sounds pretty good to me right now, if I could have one." He noticed the way that she pulled her shawl around her shoulders, and the lion chuckled a bit before settling down beside Indie, draping a wing over her shoulders for warmth. To an outside eye, it might've seemed like a romantic gesture, but considering how their interactions had gone when she had first joined, it was more of a friendly and warm platonic gesture.
