Wormwood didn't actually truly know what Lilith was. He had noticed Delilah acting weird occasionally, and was even pretty sure there was a name for it, but that didn't mean that he knew there was going to be some kind of issue with him being an angel. He was far from the angels that had hurt and driven away Lilith, having been a hidden away powerful angel, abused and manipulated to be the grand angel of all of the suffering in the world. It had been a horrible existence, one that had been wiped from his mind – up until now. Still, he found that he didn't mind having even the awful memories back, because he finally felt like he was whole again. Like he wasn't just someone who would look in the mirror and not recognize the face staring back up at them. Besides, he wasn't stuck up in the prison that heaven had been for him anymore – he was an angel still, yes, but Tanglewood was his home now, and the members here were his family, not the other angels and the God above that had mistreated him so much before he had truly become Wormwood. One of the members that had replaced them and was now a part of his little found family was now questioning him in confusion – Delilah.
When he heard the blind feline's footsteps, his ears perked up for a moment before he moved away from the railing of his porch, eagerly moving down the steps so that he was on the same level as the pink female. He gently touched one of his wings to her side to let her know he was in front of her before he spoke, a crooked grin on his muzzle as he looked at the smaller Tangler, "Del! Delilah, I know this might sound weird or made up, but something amazing just happened... I found out that I'm an angel. A real life angel. I was sent down here to protect Poetking, but now... what's the matter with your wings?" He paused his excitement for a moment when he noticed her think inky wings drooping in a deathly fashion at her sides. He had seen her wings manifest themselves several times before, but usually they were reaching up towards the sky, with inky black tendrils that looked as though they were about to grab the clouds and yank them downward with force. Now they just seemed... sad. He was unaware of the internal battle going on because of Lilith's anger, but he could tell that something was off about the other.
