Clear skies - Tanglewood refugee departure

The Tanglers' stay was a quiet one, but it would not be forgotten. Morgan howled out to call his comrades to the edge of territory, his head held high. The month of October had seen himself and his whole group go through a lot of changes and hardships. Even with the desecration of his home, however, the samoyed did not feel regret anymore. Instead, he smiled wide in eager anticipation of what could come next.

"Tanglers, assemble here! We'll be leaving shortly! The spirits have disappeared!"

Tanglewood was a much small group than it once was, but for the first time in months, things felt like they were truly and fully on the rise. The General felt closer than ever to his fellow Tanglers, and even closer to nature itself. His experiences with the strange set of ghostly elements gave him a new perspective on his senses; he would have to meditate on them more at a later date.

For some reason, the cream dog felt like he was up for a small speech. Perhaps it was out of love for his group, or out of some sort of narcissism after his personal improvements. Regardless of his reason, he barked one more time, then said,

"Thank you for staying here in this strange, strange month. I was much weaker at the beginning - all I could think about was how much I let you all down. A group of Tanglers' selfless actions, and the reappearances of some of my old friends, changed that. I accept others'll join or leave, die or be born over time. I'm a leader, but I'm no god. I'll do my best to protect you all, and I know we can work together to protect each other, too. Our raid on the Pitt was proof enough of that."

There were only a few things left to say, so the canine cleared his throat and continued.

"When we get home, there'll probably be a lot of work to do with rebuilding. I'm sure we'll be able to get things done soon enough, though."

With any luck, the ghosts would have only caused minimal damage to the various new buildings and structures around the territory, but it was not certain just yet.

"Also... we all should thank the people of Sunhaven for having us over. We're indebted to them - once we're back up and running at home, they can consider themselves welcome guests anytime."

Their generosity was greatly appreciated, and the General wanted to make sure they knew that.

With his improvised speech out of the way, Morgan turned around and took his first steps out of Sunhaven territory. He was ready to finally return home.
