Pincher enjoyed being able to see the youth of the crew holding their own little adventures without much worry. He had grown up with his father's rule always focusing on training the children to become ruthless pirates of various forms. Due to his experience of being deprived any freedom of doing anything outside his training time, the male had insisted that the bettas or children of the group would not be forced to jump so quickly into tasks designed for adults. He had seen the effects of such labor within himself and in the old crewmates that he had grown up with. Last thing he wanted was another child to hold the same cold glint in his eyes from memories that were only troublesome when they bubbled up from the past.
Pincher was close to where the three other Typhoon crewmates were, his sleek back facing them as he was speaking to some npc members about fortifying the entrance of the island. Despite being incredibly secure with there being only one connection of land for someone to enter the island, Pincher knew there could be attempts such as flying or perhaps even swimming though he knew outside the coral reef, yearly sharks roamed the warm tropical waters. His voice was flat and crisp, the tone he always had when giving out orders to his subordinates. As he finished speaking to the two other pirates, the dark male glanced over his broad shoulder to spot three figures near the edge of the shore, where the sand was able to be molded into multiple forms. With a faint veil of curiosity now covering his aquamarine blue gaze, the Captain headed over to where they were.
Halting behind his daughter, Pincher lowered his head to gently drag his tongue on her forehead to smoothen down any little hairs that poked out. He allowed a charismatic smirk to grow on his caramel brown muzzle as he focused on Vanessa and Cronas, ears pricked with attentiveness as he questioned "Sandcastles, eh? Well, I've got some killer experience with building sandcastles. There should be some buckets around the beach as well as other things to help out with building it." He was glad that there was time for other activities than just duties especially if he was able to spend time with his daughter.
