IF LOOKS COULD KILL ✧ Vanessa Carlysle - The Typhoon
Vanessa had been sitting alone on the beach when she had seen Cronas out of the corner of her eyes. She walked over to the young child and asked them. "Are you building a sandcastle? If you are, I can help you with it." The Striker had offered.

the kitten enjoyed spending her time on the beach, although she often focused more on hanging out with others as she wished to develop bonds with her crewmates. having friends was nice and it made her feel less lonely. plus, she liked most of the people here, so she didn't mind spending time with them, even if it did get tiring after a while. which it did. and that's why she had been relaxing quietly on the beach for a little while. she hadn't been getting much sleep since her papa got injured and she felt quite tired. maybe she could fall asleep if she just kept laying here...

but then the sound of a voice caught her attention, her ears immediately perking upwards. she made out the word "sandcastle" and was immediately interested, her sleepiness melting away. the girl got up and trotted over to the two, examining the scene. "oh, i love sandcastles! maybe we could make a really big one, if you want." goldie said eagerly with a smile, her tail twitching back and forth.

Re: sunshine ;; building sandcastles, open - PINCHER - 06-16-2018

Pincher enjoyed being able to see the youth of the crew holding their own little adventures without much worry. He had grown up with his father's rule always focusing on training the children to become ruthless pirates of various forms. Due to his experience of being deprived any freedom of doing anything outside his training time, the male had insisted that the bettas or children of the group would not be forced to jump so quickly into tasks designed for adults. He had seen the effects of such labor within himself and in the old crewmates that he had grown up with. Last thing he wanted was another child to hold the same cold glint in his eyes from memories that were only troublesome when they bubbled up from the past.

Pincher was close to where the three other Typhoon crewmates were, his sleek back facing them as he was speaking to some npc members about fortifying the entrance of the island. Despite being incredibly secure with there being only one connection of land for someone to enter the island, Pincher knew there could be attempts such as flying or perhaps even swimming though he knew outside the coral reef, yearly sharks roamed the warm tropical waters. His voice was flat and crisp, the tone he always had when giving out orders to his subordinates. As he finished speaking to the two other pirates, the dark male glanced over his broad shoulder to spot three figures near the edge of the shore, where the sand was able to be molded into multiple forms. With a faint veil of curiosity now covering his aquamarine blue gaze, the Captain headed over to where they were.

Halting behind his daughter, Pincher lowered his head to gently drag his tongue on her forehead to smoothen down any little hairs that poked out. He allowed a charismatic smirk to grow on his caramel brown muzzle as he focused on Vanessa and Cronas, ears pricked with attentiveness as he questioned "Sandcastles, eh? Well, I've got some killer experience with building sandcastles. There should be some buckets around the beach as well as other things to help out with building it." He was glad that there was time for other activities than just duties especially if he was able to spend time with his daughter.

Re: sunshine ;; building sandcastles, open - coldblue - 06-17-2018

[align=center][div style="max-width: 600px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10pt;"][color=black]Following shortly after Pincher and Goldie is Coldblue. Surprising, isn't it? Not often that the elusive Roux makes a public appearance, and with his family, too. Most days, the young male spends his time wandering around the island, reading books and playing music. Chores? None. Responsibilities? Nope. Duties? Nah. Even though he is old enough to start the transition from being cared for to caring for others, Blue is especially stubborn. Fully committed to pursuing his own interests, the hedonistic creature oftentimes finds himself isolated from others--lost in his own little world. Suffice to say that there aren't many things which interest him when it comes to socializing and interacting with others. It can be enjoyable at times, but Blue appreciates his privacy. However, there are days when the boredom grows too strong, compelling the tomcat to seek entertainment elsewhere. Hence, his presence on the beach, quite literally following in his father's footsteps.

A sleek pelt of pale cream and soft brown rosettes shine in the golden sunlight. Glacial blue eyes regard the sand with a particular disdain, the expression accentuated by his permanently slit gaze--akin to that of a snake. He just groomed himself, and now he's tromping across the oceans of sand. Poor planning on his part. "The bigger, the better," comments the boy, adding onto his sister's words. If Coldblue is going to dirty himself by playing in the sand, he might as well be sure that it was all worth it. Go big or go home. He barely spares his father a glance as he passes the captain, although Goldie is awarded a stunning smile full of love and warmth. It's no secret that Blue feels closer to his siblings rather than his parents, but it is not something that is usually publicly displayed given Blue's solitary preferences. "I would love to contribute, as well," he continues, offering Cronas a friendly smirk. Building things can be fun, even if it involves sand (bleh).
