Morgan let out a sigh of relief when so many of his comrades showed up in a row. Their eagerness was the sweetest surprise of all; such enthusiasm for improving the town was a beautiful thing to the cream dog. He sized the Tanglers up one at a time, thinking hard to come up with tasks for each of them.
The first to come in - Whisper - was one who the samoyed had only seen in a recent meeting. Something about the young one's presence seemed oddly familiar to the canine, but he brushed off the feeling to give her a job. "Yes. Clean out anything that's not supposed to be here." Besides the dust he was removing, surely some little plants and animals were hidden in the nooks and crannies of the library. "Give Iota help if you have time, too. I will give her a job soon."
The dog turned toward Fenrisulfr next, admiring the beast for a moment. "Hmm..." He shifted his weight onto his haunches as he sat back, raising his head to see his peer's bright eyes. "Fenrisulfr... Please light the candles." He motioned toward the various lanterns set around the room; as far as he knew, nobody else was able to conjure fire for them. As he turned his head, his eyes widened, and he snapped back to stare at the fiery Regent. "Almost forgot - you should also teach me to understand books!" His smile was practically visible even behind his mask, his voice carrying an air of joy as he thought about having private lessons with his friend.
Thankfully, Nayru's quick suggestion made it easy to figure out her job. "Organize books, yes! That sounds very helpful, Nayru." With how old the library was, the dog was sure that plenty of the books were out of order or destroyed. The young Sawbone would thus be of great importance when it came to giving the library a cleaner image. The canine continued, "Nayru, clean off the dust too." While he was able to get the majority of it removed with just his water, some extra finesse on her end would make the room even cleaner.
Finally, Iota was to receive her task, and an important one at that. Knowing that she had some skill with plants, Morgan said, "Iota, trim and clean up the big tree!" The library's main space was interrupted by a large, old oak tree - a complete eyesore. Shaping the branches and beautifying the tree would change it from a nuisance into an asset. "Help Whisper when you are done."
Happy as could be, the dog got up, nodded, and headed for the stairs up to the second floor. He let his water trail behind him as a sphere, ready to pick up more dust before long.
