Early morning, sea winds, sounds of water breaking against the sand; what could be more relaxing. Sterling was making his way along the shoreline, letting those big paws of his sink into the damp sand. That bucket was gripped gingerly in his paw as he trotted along, eyes peering searchingly along the ground. His head would tilt every now and then to inspect something he thought may be of interest, a light humming coming from his throat. Within his bucket lied a small collection of rather vibrant seashells and even a few tarnished coins. In his wake were quite a few holes further down the beach from him, paw prints leading from one hole to the next. Clearly the Lynx had been busy today.
Surely enough Sterling spotted what he considered a perfect edition to his growing collection! He worked his way over to it and peered down at it, awkwardly tilting his head to eye a pinkish looking shell. The process made the bucket tilt entirely with him which caused all of the shells to clatter to one side. A wide grin grew over his maw as he quickly set the bucket down in the sand and leaned down to pick up the shell in his maw. It was quickly deposited. "Another fine edition! I don't think that one was bright enough you need to try harder. What do you mean? Just look at it, shining there with the rest! It's only shining so much because you slobbered all over it when you picked it up." Sterling huffed at that, grumbling some and kicking up some dirt with his hind leg before scooping the bucket back up into his maw and continuing along. "Well I thought it was pretty." He said through his occupied maw, sounding a little pouty.
