"DAMMIT!"

The loud, angered yell rang out through the Typhoon territory, birds flying out of trees with surprise. If anyone heard Edward Elric's scream, they would probably think he was an intimidating, strong, large animal. But oh boy, oh boy, they were wrong. At the border, stood a canine at the height of 12 inches, big ears flattened to his skull. Edward had two metal limbs- his front right leg and left hind leg. There was a large frown across his face, his red cloak fluttering in the wind. Edward Elric was pissed beyond belief. First off, he was mad at the homunculi- this is all their fault! He wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for them, it's 100% their fault! Secondly, it was bad enough he's stuck as an animal, but really a Corgi? Corgi's are so small, Truth has to be rolling over, laughing it's ass off at Ed's situation. "Even as a dog, I'm still small!" He grumbled angrily, as his golden eyes began to scan the territory.

It was then Edward Elric realized he had no idea where he was. This land wasn't familiar at all, it didn't give Edward any vibes. Where the hell is he? "Shit, and I'm lost too! This is just great!" The Corgi said angrily as he sniffed at the border, debating whether or not to cross it.

IF LOOKS COULD KILL ✧ Vanessa Carlysle - The Typhoon

This was certainly an interesting sight. A small corgi on their border. Vanessa had heard his loud scream and with bristling fur, she had headed in his direction- excepting to see a large animal, taller then her. But, she was wrong. The Striker had tried her best to not laugh as she approached Edward. "Vanessa Carlysle."

The black-wolf would say, before she asked. "You're on The Typhoon's territory. Name and business."

The Typhoon was a...weird place. A home of diverse creatures from various backgrounds and although they weren't just some "troublemakers", they did tend to clash heads due to the eccentricity of everyone. However, Pincher was used to this behavior. He had grown up with the traveling gang of his father that was filled with all sorts of criminals so seeing anger and a fiery passion was something that he did not have trouble in struggling to understand. He used to be considered a hotheaded creature in his younger months, his desire to spite everything that turned wrong from what he wanted. In a way, he was able to understand the frustration that tinted the screaming curse that caused his head to quickly turn towards the direction it came from as he watched birds escape the seething rage of whatever enraged animal had shouted.

He dropped his book onto the towel he had been resting on, his shark-like teeth gnawing softly on a bone white lit cigarette, his short tail wagging slightly as he followed after Vanessa. As the Captain managed to catch up to the Striker, the coal black canine halted beside his crewmate and expected to look up at whatever creature had scared off the island birds. But instead, his head tipped downwards and he was locking his crystalline blue gaze on a seething red cloaked puppy? Oh wait, it was a corgi. He suppressed the urge to smile, his closed mouth making a weird chortling noise as he glanced away but the infuriated expression that Edward had was amusing. As he tried not to let a single chuckle escape, Pincher tensed up when he felt his throat suddenly tighten due to him inhaling in his cigarette. He parted his jaws to make an alien-like choking noise. Karma was a bitch, wasn't she?

What Edward wasn't expecting was for two creatures to wander up to him. Ed picked up the scent of the border, but he didn't think people, or apparently animals, were nearby. That smell at the border, it wasn't that fresh, so the little Corgi wasn't expecting visitors. Ed looked up at the two strangers, ears pricking up as he caught Vanessa holding back a laugh. "What the hell are you laughing at??" The short tempered male barked out with a growl, before the female asked for his 'name and business'. Well, that certainly sounded like a common question, they must get a lot of visitors at their border. "I'm Edward Elric," The Fullmetal Alchemist grumbled, as his golden gaze landed on Pincher, as soon as the doberman began to choke on his cigarette.

Almost instantly, his attention on Vanessa was lost. The little Corgi was focusing entirely on Pincher, who not to mention, was towering over Edward. "DON'T CALL ME LITTLE, YOU HAG!" Did Pincher call Ed little? No, no he did not, but he certainly laughed, or for better words choked, at his height! Edward certainly has a quick temper, and often blows things out of portion when it comes to his height. Edward was just finally being to grow when the homunculi got him into this stupid mess!

Muttering a few words about his height, Ed focused his attention back onto Vanessa with a frown. "Never heard of the Typhoon before." The Alchemist said after a moment, having to look up at the wolf. For truth's sake, he really hates being this small. Everyone is towering over him! "I'm not well versed regarding your home. Care to tell a poor alchemist like me?"

[CAESAR CIPHER.]

REIGN HAVOC FROM ABOVE !

CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. PRIVATEER.

"Ah, temper, temper." Caesar mused as he came over, having been alerted by Edward's yelling and had been drawn to the scene because of it. Caesar knew he was the one to speak about having a temper, but at least he wasn't just yelling at people for no reason. Or... maybe he did. He didn't know. He certainly felt like there was a reason whenever he did end up snapping at somebody. "Maybe you should check that." Was he trying to make a joke about Edward's height? Maybe. It was kind of hilarious to see so much anger in such a little body.

"But anyway." Caesar went on quickly. "The Typhoon is basically a place for all of us misfits to call home." Er, well, Caesar didn't exactly call this place 'home', but it was something. "You do know we're one of the groups around these parts, right?" Surely Edward at least heard of those rumors? That's how Caesar had been alerted to The Typhoon in the first place.

”Oh, the pipsqueak has a temper.” Krataa commented with a chuckle, watching the corgi rumble and scream with a bemused look on his face.
He dropped down from the safety of the branches, deciding he was safe and moved to enroach on the newcomer. ”I wouldn’t call him a hag.” He said, voice laced with poison as sulfuric eyes burned onto the boy. Much of the Emperor’s face was covered by the hood of his cape, leaving glowing eyes.

”After all, he could order us to kill you.”

all the shouting was what had caught her attention. the kitten moved towards the gathering group quickly, spotting her papa first. he was...coughing? no, he was choking! she immediately ran in to her papa's side, aiming to give him a punch on the back with her paw to help him breathe. she had hit kinda hard by accident - oops. she didn't really know her own strength yet. but, now that she'd done that, she would turn her attention to the guy who was shouting at them.

aw, he's so little. tinier than her! he couldn't fit all that anger inside of him! but, that didn't give him an excuse to her papa a hag. she pouted when she heard that. "don't call him a hag! that's not nice." she scolded in return, flicking her tail. she didn't like others being mean for no reason, especially to her papa. she got quiet after that, though, because the others started to talk.

Edward’s attention was quickly taken away from Vanessa, the corgi looking over to Caesar. The Alchemist frowned at the comment about this temper- Ed certainly knows he has a quick temper, but he just can’t help it! He hates it when people call him short, he absolutely hates his height! And it’s even worse when Winry tries to get him to drink milk- he hates it. Keep that damn cow juice far away from him!

Huh, they were a group of animals that live together? Caesar made it sound like he was giving Edward a common fact, and that there was something wrong if Edward didn’t hear about them. Well, they certainly have a problem, don’t they now? ”Sorry, I wasn’t aware there were any ‘groups’ nearby.” Ed replied, making sure not to make comments on his past life as a human, they don’t have to know about that. This area didn’t look like it was in Amestris, and he certainly didn’t know about any large abundances of animals living together. This just be far away from Amestris, how did he manage to end up all the way here? Stupid homunculi!

”DON’T CALL ME A PIPSQUEAK!” The corgi immediately yelled at the black panther who dared to call him a pipsqueak, the alchemist’s front paws beginning to shake. He almost felt tempted to transmute to show them what a little pipsqueak he is, but this is an unfamiliar area. And he’s in a sticky situation. He can’t use alchemy on them, they could kill him like the Emperor mentioned.

Okay, apparently they didn’t like that Edward called the Doberman a hag. Ed was just angered at him for choking on his cigarette due to Ed’s height. All of them think his height is funny, he’s sure of it! He hates that even in this strange world, people make fun of him due to his shortness. He hadn’t even been used to it in Amestris, Edward is clearly very sensitive about it. ”He called me little, he is!” The corgi grumbled at Goldie’s comments, the little alchemist letting out a sigh as he tried to calm himself down. Though it was mean of him, when he thinks about it.

”Is there a chance I can stay here? I don’t really have anywhere else to go, you see I’m not familiar with this area.”

Edward really hopes he’s not about to get himself into a world of trouble. Edward didn’t think of his situation more, he should have thought more about the group before asking to stay, when he doesn’t have much information. That’s certainly one fault of Fullmetal.

Vanessa would glance as Pincher began choking on his cigarette. She would shake her head and focus her attention on Ed as he spoke. So he didn't know what The Typhoon was? Had he been living under a rock or something? And what was a alchemist?

Vanessa would listen to all of the others speak to the corgi, before she had heard his question about staying. "Yeah, you can stay here, unless Pincher disagrees." She said, nodding towards the Captain.

Okay, now it was just funny to get him mad. "I don't know, Venessa. The boy's rather rude." Krataa sneered, lips curled to bare his teeth at the corgi. The Emperor lower his head, nose sticking out and revealing the slight of a ugly, wrinkled face. "Listen boy," His paw shot out, aiming to step on the corgi's metal leg and sink his claws in. "I knew someone far bigger than you and made of more metal. And he was a joke." As he said this, if his earlier movement worked, he would start sending small electric shocks through him. "Don't test me. And don't annoy anyone here." The Emperor would release him, his paw retreating into his robe.

"Krataa. By the way."
