Despite The Typhoon's fearsome reputation, it was fairly easy to cross the border and head straight to their camp. Alexander had little patience for standing around and waiting for someone to come around - direct action was needed when it came to these clans. They were particularly strict about their borders, but they were sure their soon to be clanmates wouldn't mind too much once the situation was explained. Besides, who wouldn't be happy to have Alexander in their midst? They were better company than most.
Now, if only they could get someone to notice them before the sun was up.
They have been a vampire for a little less than two hundred years, and in a coven for almost as long as that, but typical vampire weaknesses still plagued them. They could get over it for the most part, accept that even immortals had some shortcomings. An allergy to silver, wooden stakes, and the Christian cross was all fine and dandy - hell, even being unable to see their reflection in the mirror was okay. The only thing that really pissed them off was their weakness to the sun. A few minutes in the light of day resulted in third degree sunburns, and anything passed that ended with them looking like a shriveled grab. It really was one of the worst things in the world.
The wolf had settled under the shade of a tree at the beach, watching the sun slowly color the sky pink and yellow, cringing as the morning air warmed up. As a mortal Alexander had loved watching the sun rise and set, had loved everything about the daytime, in fact. A few good sunburns over the century has been enough to change their mind. They let out a loud sigh as they turn away from the scene, eyes going to the quiet village The Typhoon called their home. There must be some early risers around, right? Alex would rather not have to run around the beach all day looking for shade until someone came.
Enough was enough. "Hey, can someone come and act as a welcome matt so I can get in already? I'd rather everyone come see me before the sun comes up. I look prettier with the curtains closed." They announce into the open air, laughing at their own joke. Hopefully someone was around to here all of that - Alex couldn't be the only one to witness such comedy.
