Despite The Typhoon's fearsome reputation, it was fairly easy to cross the border and head straight to their camp. Alexander had little patience for standing around and waiting for someone to come around - direct action was needed when it came to these clans. They were particularly strict about their borders, but they were sure their soon to be clanmates wouldn't mind too much once the situation was explained. Besides, who wouldn't be happy to have Alexander in their midst? They were better company than most. Now, if only they could get someone to notice them before the sun was up. They have been a vampire for a little less than two hundred years, and in a coven for almost as long as that, but typical vampire weaknesses still plagued them. They could get over it for the most part, accept that even immortals had some shortcomings. An allergy to silver, wooden stakes, and the Christian cross was all fine and dandy - hell, even being unable to see their reflection in the mirror was okay. The only thing that really pissed them off was their weakness to the sun. A few minutes in the light of day resulted in third degree sunburns, and anything passed that ended with them looking like a shriveled grab. It really was one of the worst things in the world. The wolf had settled under the shade of a tree at the beach, watching the sun slowly color the sky pink and yellow, cringing as the morning air warmed up. As a mortal Alexander had loved watching the sun rise and set, had loved everything about the daytime, in fact. A few good sunburns over the century has been enough to change their mind. They let out a loud sigh as they turn away from the scene, eyes going to the quiet village The Typhoon called their home. There must be some early risers around, right? Alex would rather not have to run around the beach all day looking for shade until someone came. Enough was enough. "Hey, can someone come and act as a welcome matt so I can get in already? I'd rather everyone come see me before the sun comes up. I look prettier with the curtains closed." They announce into the open air, laughing at their own joke. Hopefully someone was around to here all of that - Alex couldn't be the only one to witness such comedy. Re: SINGULARITY | JOINING - CAESAR CIPHER. - 09-17-2018 FORGETTING LIES AND PAIN !
CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. OFFICER.
The last time somebody had tried to waltz into camp, Caesar had, well... murdered them. That was mostly because said intruder was clearly here for malicious intent and was spying and Caesar had been itching to get his paws on somebody and that NPC happened to be there at the wrong time. Fortunately for The Typhoon though, their secrets were left unsaid due to Caesar easily ripping open the NPC's throat and killing them. He relished in the feeling of flesh tearing beneath his claws and the way the body went limp under him and how warm the NPC's blood had felt for a few seconds as it gushed out from the wound. But luckily for Alexander, Caesar wasn't exactly in a murderous mood today. Unfortunately, that wouldn't stop the Officer was being aggressive towards this 'intruder'. Almost as soon as the demon heard [member=1383]ALEXANDER[/member]'s voice, Caesar leaped towards them, trying to pin them down. Regardless of whether or not his attack succeeded, the Officer snarled, "Who the hell do you think you are, coming into camp like this?" He spat. "Name and intent with The Typhoon immediately." How the hell did this guy get past their borders so quickly? That was troublesome and quite worrying, if Caesar was being honest with himself. STOMP, STOMP, STOMP. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to have this body in the first place. Owen didn't know how to shift back into his german shepherd form, and the way he heavily walked made it obvious. He was smaller than your 10-14 foot indominus rex, his body still growing and currently at 5 feet, but that didn't make him any less intimidating. Amber eyes watched Caesar's attempt to stop the trespasser from moving, his head tilting to the side. "It's not too good to just waltz right into our camp, man. Pretty dumb, especially with what we're packin'." Owen rumbled, his long, thick tail moving behind him in slow tandems. His body shifted, the indo-rex merely moving to the side to wait for something else to happen. Would the stranger fight? Owen sure hoped he didn't. Blood meant attention, and attention really didn't need to be brought here right now. Not with his raptors so unstable and quick to anger. The unfamiliar voice was met almost instantly by Caesar, unsurprisingly. With a small frown, Keona popped up behind Owen, careful skittering to avoid running into his clawed feet. Her ears twitched, her pale sea-green hues darting in an attempt to seem attentive towards those speaking. "… Said welcome mat," the kitten murmured, somewhat unimpressed.
While she hated Caesar and as such liked arguing against anything he may do, she agreed with Owen. Waltzing in was not intelligent, and that was exactly what this stranger had done. "Does that mean you wanna join?" Why not just wait at the border like everyone else? It was there for a reason. Not to mention the bells. How'd he get all the way over here anyway? Weren't their borders more guarded than this? code by spacexual Re: SINGULARITY | JOINING - alexander - 09-17-2018

Alexander hears Caesar before they see him. The wolf spins around to face their aggressor, tilting their head when they see that it's a cat that's trying to take them down. They move to the side, looking down at the Officer with a raised brow. "You're a little feisty, aren't you? Bossy, too. Do you think your blood is spicy?" They can hear Caesar's heart beating, blood pushing through his veins. He doesn't smell like a mortal, more like sulfur and eye dust. A demon, then, though Alexander had never met the kind of demon he was. They notice two other Typhoon members emerge from the jungle, slowly turning away from Caesar so they can keep an eye on the others. A dinosaur and a fae, only one of which they would really have to worry about if it came down to it. They scowl at Owen's comment, burgundy eyes rolling in amusement. "I seem to be doing pretty well so far, though." Alexander barks, fangs peeking out when they smile. "You don't seem to be packing a lot, anyways." Their voice becomes haughty, though it's ruined when they stick their tongue out in the dinosaur's direction. The vampire turns their attention to Keona next, ears perking in interest. They have met very few faeries in their life, and they were always a treat. Faerie blood was known to be a delicacy to vampires, their blood even better than that of their usual targets. Alexander was a creature of mischief, and if they weren't trying to get an invitation into The Typhoon, they might have taken a bite out of the child, but - they glance away from Keona, feeling a pinprick of hunger ignite in their stomach. "Anyhow, yes, I'm looking to join. My name is Alexander." Séamus slithered up beside his niece, having been attracted by the overall commotion. There was a twinge of confusion gleaming in his sea-green eyes, but the matter was settled rather quickly as wolf answered Keona's question. The rusty spotted cat wears a sharp frown on his maw however, the usual pleasant expression he wore when dealing with strangers gone. The fun in being tricky, in his own mischief, had faded the second he felt his skin prickle, possessiveness threatening to release his own claws. Subconsciously, he stepped closer to the child. A statement of protection.
#psychosocial. He knows a vampire when he sees one. Senses. Feels one. He was not fond of their kind, but, given how his home had been torn apart from racism, Séamus was loathe to judge too quickly. "Looks are deceiving," he warns quietly, voice laced in sweet venom. Since Alexander did seem to be joining however, the pirate decides to let his muscles relax. Outwardly. A more friendly demeanor, even if his eyes glinted with something dark. He was a snake poised to strike suddenly at any second. "Séamus Ó Faolain," the Faerie offered chipperly, dipping his head politely. "Kid's my niece, Keona," stay away, "welcome to the Typhoon. Try not to cause any more trouble." Despite Alexander stating that they were joining, Caesar still retained his aggressive stance and narrowed his eyes at the vampire. "If you want the taste of tar in your mouth then by all means, bite me." He hissed. Dream demons blood - at least those born in the Seventh Tier - was the color of the substance the Officer mentioned and definitely had the taste to match it. "If you were joining, you should have fucking waited." The demon quickly went on with a growl. "We don't take kindly to intruders." The elusive child - he had not meant to be so absent lately - finally found himself drawn out of hiding, brown orbs bright and curious. The boy watched Caesar most of all, noting his aggressive attitude. Ikaia had approached Typhoon on boat, but had ended up in the right place to be picked up as a crewmate. He swiveled his head towards Alexander, settling beside Keona and her uncle. "Is he still an intruder though?" He piped up, flecks of confusion flashing in the youth's eyes. This was a foreign situation to him. ( you are the dawn of a new day that's waking, a masterpiece still in the making )

The endless Void, The gazing abyss, The bottomless ocean of horror...It coiled itself around your tender heart of course Owen - and the angry ceasar - wasn't the only thing the typhoon ahd lying around. they had two packs of raptors for one - and lately with owen's change well they were fast becoming a dinosaur island situation, hm. then of course there was the winged dad himself - or mom to a set of raptors (who had gone exploring and truly he tried not to overworry about that) - who brought up the rear of the group now confronting a blatantly arrogant joiner. at least he was a joiner then - though a foolish one if he really did want the ire of all of them from the get go and thus the road to 'friendship' with any of them all the more rockier. Lucifer merely snorted from his position looming in the back, smoke rising idly from nostrils. /yeee welcome ! c: |
