Maw opened and out fell an envelope from the old feline's maw, drifting carefully to the ground, before he turned around and hobbled off, seemingly with a mission.


In the envelope, there was an invitation;

To Whom it May Concern:

You have been invited to a small party in the Neutral territory! Directions and time enclosed. I hope to see you there! You'll have a wonderful time.

It was not uncommon for Aurum to patrol the border every other day, keen to see if there were any threats, or any newcomers about for him to deal with. Invitations were also something that happened occasionally, although they were usually delivered in person, by a trusted ally. So, when the lion saw the envelope on the ground, he had felt both curious, and unnerved. After reading it, he had carefully picked it up in his jaws, heading back towards town. Before long, he reached the edge of the main town, putting the note down and calling out, "Vig? Vigenere? We got invited to a party. Although the note isn't signed by any group... it seems like it could be dangerous." It wasn't often that they received a note that was neither signed by nor smelled like any particular group, so the angel couldn't help the vaguely wary response that he had.

Hearing Aurum's voice wasn't expected by any means, but the fact that the lion seemed to have a concerned tone made Vigenere quickly abandon his short talk with an NPC, coming over to Aurum as he spoke about the note. "Yeah, that's not suspicious at all." The savannah snorted, his tone sarcastic as he spoke. "As much as the loner lands seems not to be dangerous, I don't like the fact this wasn't signed whatsoever." To say the least, this had bad news written all over it (perhaps literally).
