Vanessa had been thinking about asking Pincher about this for some time now. Since the Captain hadn't seemed busy the last few hours, she had decided to ask him now. The Striker had gone to his place and knocked on the door multiple times before she spoke. "'Ey, Pincher. Do you care if I become apart of the Roux family if you'll allow it?"

Family was something that Pincher viewed as essential to living. It was a way of being able to have someone to be with despite the crushing isolation one could feel at time. It meant having support even if they were not blood related. His father had wanted the Roux family to be only for blood members, no one allowed from other families in. But Pincher didn't enjoy that rule and after being able to become head of the family, he had decided it was time to change that. It wasn't surprising because after meeting Roxanne and connecting immediatly to her, the canine had offered her a spot by his side in the family. The Rouxes were no longer a prideful haughty family name that had been tainted by his father's disregard for deep connections that lied outside blood.

He had been busy for quite a while before deciding to take a break from leader duties, his jaws parting in a wide yawn that exposed his rows of shark-like teeth when he heard knocking at his door. With pricked ears swiveling towards the direction of the sound, the male hopped off his desk chair and towards the door with his vibrant electric blue eyes snapping onto the dark figure of Vanessa standing in front of him as he swung open the door. Pincher was about to question what did she want when she suddenly spoke about joining the family. He blinked twice, rather startled by the inquiry. Huh, no one had ever asked to join the Rouxes but he viewed Vanessa in a positive light and believed she would not cause any trouble within the family. He allowed a light smirk to trace his muzzle as he gave a nod, stating "I don't mind at all. But can I ask why the Rouxes?" He tipped his obsidian colored head to the side with wonder as he waited for a response.

Something she was proud of, she felt like she was given a medallion. It was weird really though she had flying by only to catch Vanessa and Pincher talking to each other, she didn't hear what her brother said but she would land on back and puts her tiny paws on his head smiling at Vanessa [b]"Hey Ness!
