it only made sense that once the coin was flipped, indie began to experience the same as her suitors possibly had. was it karma? was the universe throwing her own medicine right back in her face? she probably deserved it but god, did it hurt. wormwood was a playful temptation, but it did come to a humorous surprise that he wasn't interested in the female anatomy.
but only moments later delilah... indie could come up with a million words to describe how beautiful she was. she didn't even know the girl, yet she was absolutey enamoured with her.
this is definitely karma. she decided. this had to be what her past courters felt like when she denied them time and time again. now here she was, in their paws, sulking as she paced outside their lands. tanglewood could wait for a day or two. she needed to think. why hadn't she asked before she cocooned herself? well, perhaps because she didn't expect it... but finding out the pink pelted she-cat had an entire family was... well it was scandalous least to say.
the scent of tanglewood began to degrade on her pelt as she laid in a patch of lavender, rolling into it leisurely to get her mind off of her silly love life. she was indiana bells for crying out loud. her mother would never approve of this behavior.
still... it was hard to come back from. why did her heart feel so heavy?
indie couldn't help but sigh as she tilted her head back, a frustrated groan rising from her. she had to get rid of this feeling. it felt gross and lingered far too long for her liking.
