Solsken glanced up when he heard his brother call out about their mother not deserving a statue. He knew the other was right, knew that she herself would’ve said not to give her one but for some reason it still hurt him that she wouldn’t be getting one. A low growl vibrated through the pup and he found himself standing up and exiting the area. He didn’t need to be there for anymore of it especially not if they would continue to discuss his mother. The pup was still in denial and regardless of the actions that Sojourn had done at this time the young god still wished for her to be remembered as a Kingpin.

The last day? Days? Whatever it was now, he was losing track of time, they were shaky, distant from him. A blur. The shift in leadership was sudden, and came with a bang, in a manner that could not, and would not be comparable to anything that could come after it. Even Stryker and Ninazu went out more peacefully than this, or so he heard. And despite Sojourn's complaints and rather rough reaction, for the life of him he simply could not commit himself to letting the dead fall to the depths of being forgotten. Not for any sentimental purpose, but he found himself suspicious of superstition, and he had grown a fondness for and connection with the dead, as macabre as it was. A curiosity. But he supposed even Sojourn had her wishes and deserved to keep them even in death, and if that was to let her memory fade away, so be it.

And yet?

From the other side of the gathered wanderers, Angel's sights were set on Ruven and Solsken, the only ones left that could carry her memory. Perhaps Ruven just a touch more, if only because he bore a body that reminded him more of the late Kingpin, and the vision stuck in his skull of the blood bending was hard to ignore. How ironic was it that Sojourn intentionally lead herself to the same fate as she swore her parents had done before her, though would not believe it was not their intention. "So many funerals." The jaguar murmured to himself, rubbing his face with a paw. But the shoutout was appreciated. So much work to do.

After the whole attack with Sojourn, Oleander was understandably wary about coming out of Aphra's home. Her side still stung slightly from the former Kingpin's jaws and her wing was still broken, but most of all, Oleander was afraid. She was afraid it had been her fault, that she had done something wrong. Oleander didn't gather close by when Aphra called the meeting and simply listened from afar, sitting close to her mother's den.[glow=white,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

His attention was grabbed by Inferno briefly as he left. Rather than responding, he merely replied with a nod of his head and continued to walk. She was right. This was not the ideal status for that former Typhooner.
