She woke up covered in pollen.
Her initial reaction was one of confusion, glancing about wildly to try and search for a familiar landmark, a sign, or anything that could tell her where she was- but all she could see for miles was plains, spattered with wheat fields and the occasional flower patch. Did she remember any plains being near... near what, actually? Even after pondering for several moments, her search for a point of reference came up blank. She didn't recall having a home, a family, or anything besides the foreign plain she was stuck in now.
...Come to think of it, she wasn't even sure she knew who she was, let alone where.
"Deep breaths," she muttered, twisting around to get a glance at herself. She was covered in black and white fur, had four legs, and had a tail- so she was some sort of mammal. Lifting a paw cautiously and pressing it against her face, she confirmed that her muzzle was relatively flat. She was probably a cat of some sort, then. That didn't tell her very much, but it was better than nothing.
Almost subconsciously, she tugged lightly at some sort of fabric around her neck. Narrowing her eyes, she pulled the fabric off and set it on the ground. It was green, albeit a darker shade than that of the grass surrounding her, and had a tag on it. Warringkingdoms K. L. was scrawled messily in black ink on the tag.
Never mind what the last two initials stood for; hopefully the name "Warringkingdoms" would sound familiar to someone nearby- and judging by the strong scent of various creatures that swarmed her senses, there were indeed people nearby. With a sigh, she carefully wrapped the scarf around her neck again, then called, "Hey, anyone around? I need some help." And possibly a place to stay, she thought about adding, but decided against it.
