ASHES ON THE MOUNTAIN
It hadn't taken her long to find a suitable home (to her it was suitable, her husband would've gone mad with all the dust and cobwebs that lay about), but even after she cleaned it up and set her stuff down, she knew it wasn't yet complete. There was just two things left to do, and it took her a while to find the suitable materials. Between hunting and gathering herbs for Moth (something she didn't have to do but simply did it out of habit), Steel collected bones, vines, and several round rocks from the territory.
Walking up her porch and sitting down on the wood, she took the bag that sat against her chest and set it down next to her, looking fondly at it before taking a few rib bones and vine and slowly wrapping the bones up and tying them together, a hushed prayer leaving her lips in strange tongue.
She would continue this for a while, making triangular formations using her good talon while her injured one clutched at the stairs, arm poised around the small bag she held so dear, protective. Examining the formations with a critical eye, she set aside the ones that were crooked and misaligned, for they would not do for her war deity. Unhooking her clenched talon from the stairs she stood up, taking the bag into her grasp and began to turn around. It was when she heard someone's steps on the stairs below that she halted, turning around halfway. [color=#e57f7f]"Hello, is there anything I can help with?"
