He said rather flatly though his attention diverted towards Larkspurkit with both ears twitching lightly, he found a smile appearing on his maw upon seeing the child. "Hey there, champ. Ya can't go around eating every bug that comes into sight," He couldn't help but chuckle a bit feeling Lark's nose bury itself into his chest which was a comforting feeling, something he hadn't felt in such a long time. Larkspurkit wasn't like any of his other kids and that was fine, it was fantastic actually since he'd get more experience in parenthood and have someone to distract him from work. He took a deep breath and would wrap the kitten into an embrace, he closed both of his eyes feeling his curled tail wagging to the sides lightly "Me too, bud... Me too," He'd murmur under his breath in a gentle voice as he would open his eyes once more catching on to what Kanga had said about training, his snout wrinkled at the thought.
