Being that he was, well, immortal, he had never thought over his own needs in the past. His purpose, always, has been to fill his duty as a God and serve the mortals in exchange of worship that he did not necessarily desire. He was familiar with the strange ailments that affect them, having to always replenish their bodies and worry of tiny enemies that they would never see without tools, like germs. But, he has never had to deal with them himself in however many years it has been - too many to know, so why would he think of worrying about them now? The possibility of him being mortal in this strange new situation did occur to him, many times, in fact. However, he had not accounted every single part of being mortal, and was not even sure if it was true. He'd no idea what thirst, exhaustion, or starvation felt like. Right now, it just felt bad. Like he was losing some sort of fight, but he wasn't sure what, and the obvious answers did not reach his head. It wasn't like he could just go up and ask, anyway.

And so, the jaguar continued to simply exist, moving about his days in a similar manner to if he was staying the night at a town. The new lands they found made plenty to be discovered, and they held his interest for now. The skinny jaguar was observing ice crystals on a piece of foliage for now, sniffing at it quietly. It was not often he got to see such cold lands, mostly travelling in more mild environments. The harsh cold was something he would need to get used to.

Myhri had always been mortal. Raised himself on the streets on the city, learning how to fit in with all of the other strays and partying from sunset to sunrise, and all the space inbetween spent caring for hangovers and the aftermath of a dirty party in his home. Learning to cook had only been natural, and caring for his hygiene was important to him. But when he saw Damianos in such a state, recognizing the skinny figure, skin clinging to bones without meat between them, his ears flattened.

How did anyone let it get that bad when they were surrounded by people who ate every single meal, and snacked in the offtime? Was that what Myhri did? Yes, absolutely. Myhri had just been traveling back to his dug snow den- which was obviously the warmest- when he spotted the jaguar again. The one that couldn't speak, he believed, though he didn't know if he could hear or not. "Hey, uh.. whatcha up to over there?" Myhri said, slowly stepped closer as not to spook him if he couldn't hear.

An only slightly familiar voice enters his senses, causing him to stop, ears swiveling in the direction of the male as he turns towards him. He offers a smile to Myhri, recognizing the canine from his joining. In response to his question, he would only gesture towards their surroundings, unsure of how else to explain it. Perhaps it would be a good idea for him to learn sign language. Would he even be able to accomplish every gesture, with his paws? Either way, he could not do so right now. He wasn't so sure where to find resources for it, anyway. He wishes he could, at the very least, tell folks his name. Unfortunately, his only means of communication was paper and pencil - if granted, and then his own attempts to play charades.

He takes himself out of his head for now, though, shuffling his paws slightly now. He was not so sure of how to hold a conversation with no voice, and felt awkward about it. However, his stomach - what had grabbed the canine's attention in the first place - would break any silence, letting out a low rumble. He makes an almost annoyed face towards it, a slanted frown upon his features. His body was never so loud before.

A smile was the first thing the other had to offer. Myhri's ears twitched and perked, waiting for some response otherwise. But none came, in the end, the jaguar remained completely silent. Guilt ate at Myhri's insides as he considered what he asked of the jaguar. He frowned, flattening his ears. However, the sound that followed next, eating up the empty silence and chasing it away, made a grin crack on his face. Myhri had a hunch- and in the end, it looked like he was right.

"Forget talking about it. You have to be starving. You wanna grab something to eat?" Myhri questioned, nodding towards the jaguar's stomach. He tilted his head expectantly.

While he did not necessarily see it such a way, the rumbling of his stomach was most certainly a blessing. There was a fair chance he would go on to starve without even realizing it had someone not intervened. Plus, it got rid of the awkward silence. The jaguar would give an unsure expression towards Myhri's inquiry, unsure of what he would respond. He did not need to eat (or so he thought), but he was unsure how to explain this, besides, he did not necessarily want to turn the canine down. He was certainly fine with hanging out with him either way - it wasn't like he had much of a chance to interact with folks around here, voice being taken away and all. He ponders over it for a few moments. Hopefully his expression and hesitance did not offend the male.

Damianos would ultimately settle on a curt nod, offering a smile once more. Did he really need to eat? Even if he didn't, was it possible for him to? The Gods had done so before, so surely there would have been a way. He supposes it won't hurt to try, he just did not like the idea of wasting things. And, to be honest, he'd no idea how to do it. Oh dear, he was beginning to feel nervous. How could he explain he didn't know how to eat to a mortal?

Myhri observed the jaguar, at this point. His unique coat and quiet mannerisms- even beyond being mute he was quiet. His ears twitched gently as awaited his answer. A grin settled on Myhri's face, widening at the curt nod. He winked behind his sunglasses. "Well, c'mon. There's no point in waiting around." Myhri headed back towards his house, glancing over his shoulder to make sure Damian was following.

Myhri looked back forward, his ears twitching. They made the long trek there, and Myhri let out a physical sigh once he made it to the hut. "Here we are." Myhri said, a grin wide on his face. He pushed the door open, wincing at the faint scent of cigarette and mango. He shook it off, stepping inside and heading for a cupboard. "Uh, make yourself comfy I guess. There isn't a whole lot in here right now." Myhri said, nodding towards the broken chairs, and the bed Myhri was using until he could find things to fix his house up with.

He turned his back, making a small dish, keeping his ears perked if Damian needed anything.
