He was right when he said that these things never worked out in the end. And with all of them here it wouldn't go very well for her but perhaps he could save her life as he had done with Arrow. It was a push really but if she could benefit him in some way then he would do it. Rather it was good or bad didn't much matter to the large canine and he watched as both Tsuyu and Quill were attacked and they attacked back. He wasn't one to be physical he supposed, at least not when it came to violence, no that wasn't his mandate. He would prefer to flex his mind instead of using brute force to get his own mind across. Clearing his throat the sha creature shifted from one paw to another before he relaxed and opened his mind. It was brief the surge of his mental attack rushing in an attempt to breach Thea's mind. He attempted to wrap his subconscious around her own before he tried to shift her emotions, gaze focused on the girl's form as he thought simple instructions to the attacker. 'Become docile...' The command was simple as he attempted to play with her emotions and lower them to such a state of calm that she would become docile if it worked.

As used to this body as she was, she probably shouldn't have had attempted to take so many on at once the first time, in hindsight. It was clear she probably wouldn't be getting out of this, not without a few injuries. And that just got her blood boiling even more.

Tsuyu and Quill's attacks were successful, the former one preventing her from trying to cause more damage to the larger opponent, her paw frozen in mid-air, only able to twitch her claws as she struggled to get free of the blood-bending, regardless of the pain that it caused her. She couldn't afford to be still. More. More. More. You wanted to drag Oni back, right? You can't? So what's the point of every sacrifice you've made? Your mother? Roy? They died because you wavered in your beliefs, and you had to prove yourself right. Don't make that mistake again.

Whether it was the sharp pain of those delicate little bones in her paw breaking that snapped her out of it, those little whispers that were constantly plaguing her in her head, or the thought she might actually lose as she watched those jaws close around her paw, and her neck, she didn't know, nor care, but she attempted to slam one of the larger wings into Tsuyu's body, despite the that moving caused her, in an attempt to break her concentration. Whether it hit or just broke her concentration, it would still be successful, as it meant she could move without pain. And that meant she could teleport out of Quill's grasp, and if it had been successful, she would proceed to do so, the grin on her face fading, carefully balancing on three paws, tail whipping back and forth as she sized them up. She should probably deal with the feline hybrid first, since she seemed to be able to restrain her somewhat...

Those little voices in her head were a double-edged sword, she would learn. While they had driven her to become physically strong, and she had succeeded in doing so, and probably partially responsible for the powers she had already, they only had managed to thrive within her because her mind was so weak, as twisted and broken as it was. Those darker essences couldn't do much either, considering they only had the power to influence her, and had been from a young age. The most they could do was try and force somebody out for her, but there were no promises on it. The point was, mental manipulation? Yeah, that wasn't something Thea had much defense against. Her mind and the fact her emotions were a bit stunted caused this, and she tilted her head, that ghost of a smile she always had on her face appearing as the mental manipulation took effect, forgetting the fact she wanted to defeat them for a few moments, the little voices quieting for now.

Some would say that such things were not strong but he had other thoughts about the way that he operated. It kept him out of battles sure but it was also dangerous to those that were unaware. He was curious of this one really and her will to fight so many people at one time. Very curious and he moved forward as her smile started to move across her snout. His pink marbled gaze looked over her for a moment before he settled down in front of her and curled his thick tail. Who was she really? By her smell from the beginning she had come from the Ascendants and was friends with a creature who had been captured here. But was that all there was to it? He didn't know but he decided to speak to her, perhaps they could help each other in the long run? 'Would you like to come with me?" His voice attempted to enter her mind hoping she was still under his influence. He held no hostility to him, only an eerie calm as he leaned his muzzle forward lightly in an attempt to press his nose ever so gently against her own before withdrawing and standing up.

The voice, soft and comforting, echoed in Thea's mind, and the tail that had been raised for another attack had slowly lowered. That was nice, right? She had originally gone to the Ascendents because she had been lonely, wanting to see what this whole forming and breaking bonds were like, even if she wasn't very successful. She wasn't very close to anybody there, only Suite, and she was dead, so she didn't matter anymore, right? She had done her part, what the little voices in her head wanted her to do. To condemn Bucky. Surely, he'd be exiled or even killed. It was out of her hands now.

LEAVE. There was an attempt to roughly shove Valkyr's voice out, hoping to get out from the influence. We're not finished with her yet. Don't mess with our toy. Those little voices that spoke as one would try again, not quite happy with giving over any control of the little toy that they'd influenced since she was young.

Though, Valkyr was an interesting character, and it was tempting, to let Thea go along with the offer, of the Pitt, somewhere where she would probably be more welcome with the violent tendencies and lack of empathy for others when it came to certain feelings, it wasn't someplace where Thea would have any power over Bucky's fate.

Go. GO. You're too far in this. Leave. You need to get rid of Bucky. Get rid of Bucky. Leave here. Go home, Thea. Those words finally jolted Thea out of it, and those broken sentences finally convinced her, raising her wings in an attempt to force Valkyr away, and take off into the air. "Maybe next time!"

A wing flew close to her face, and Tsuyu merely blinked, her blood bending losing its hold as her concentration broke. With a loud snarl, Tsuyu watched the whole confrontation go down, before she saw Thea take flight. "Oh no, ribbit. You aren't leaving without a wound." Tsu croaked out, pulling water out of her water bottle on her hip to let it form into an ice shard, pointed and rugged, before she shot it at Thea, attempting to hit her shoulder while she was midair.

"Come back when you have someone fucking noteworthy with you!" She snarled up to the sky, eyes narrowing before her hips gave in, Tsuyu's lower body hitting the ground. Fuck, her hips hurt.

It was not natural and because of the sudden shock he was off balanced mentally and was shoved completely out of the attackers head. His head jerked as if he had been slapped before he took in a soft breath. No, he wasn't strong enough to combat yet with voices like that but perhaps soon he would be as he continued to push his own mental capabilities. During his thought process he forgot about how close he actually was to the Ascendant member and he was shoved roughly back. His form hit the ground with a soft sound leaving his throat as if he was wounded. Eyes squeezed shut he didn't move for a long moment yet and he could already feel bruises forming just under his skin. Not again. He shivered for a moment as he pushed himself to stand up, watching the dragon fleeing from the scene unable to retrieve whom she had come to get. It was no shocker that she would not have succeeded but he was still curious of her. Her voices. Regardless he glanced at Tsuyu who tried to attack her as she left but he saw no reason to speak on it and instead he turned and left the border.

With a raised tuft and a roar from afar, the horned lion rushed into battle with claws unsheathed and teeth bared. His target was small, rather young too, most likely an easy snack. Even before he launched an attack, Thea burst up into the air and away from Tsuyu, leaving him stopped in his tracks in frustration. Where was the thrill of the fight that he wanted? For fucks sake! With a cocky snort, Stryker turned to face Tsuyu and Valkyr. Assuming that their enemy was heading off, the lion wasn't so pleased. It seemed like he was late.

Letting out a sigh, he shrugged. "I think we should set out a bounty for that one," he inquired, "Maybe make them sit with their friend in a group torture type of event." Maybe torture one then let the other watch... then switch? Or both at once... tied together? 'Stop thinking about that.' Oh but the thrill was definitely tempting the thought to continue.

Cosette, on the other hand, was glad she was late to the whole ordeal. She wasn't sure if she could handle herself if she ended up hurting a child. Nevertheless, she padded up to the small group, watching whoever they had attacked slowly disappear against the sky. She was glad they got away before things got ugly. She knew none of her clan mates were known for showing mercy, especially the frog hybrid.
