"well, ain't someone a lil overachiever here, yeah? had t'go and get none other than a leader of the uhm… huh. can't remember their name. guy's important though." benny didn't really have an interest in poking, prodding, or eating any dead body here, though. in fact he was more interested that valkyr had done something to this level. wasn't he a goody two shoes? maybe being a slave was what kept him from doing sorts of things like this.

"ahh, anyhow. guess we should expect a special visit from his family. they'll know sooner than later where he is." benny frowned, glancing between the two former slaves, and slightly shuddered when bt appeared. god... guy gave him the fuckin' creeps for sure. "can't ya find somethin' better to do, fuckwad? jeez, have some manners."

Even so, his face was clearly blank as the demiurge graced the small collection of Pittians with his presence. "A job well done." while he had little interaction with Valkyr, the times that he had seen the former slave all brought back memories of a dawdling halfwit tripping over himself to please whomever stepped his way. Perhaps being on level with his other peers would harden him, he'd thought upon promoting the creature, and it came to no surprise that his expectations proved right; he had done something that not even his tougher comrades-in-arms could manage. There was a pleased uplifting of Esklav's frons as he inspected the male's work.

He idly wondered what Dante would think; the male seemed to be the more outspoken of the members when it came to slaves, and he no doubt would have a thing or two to grumpily shout.

"Blacktide, heel, if you will." the authority's accented voice was soft, but he barely spared his wild son a glance. He would not be using the corpse of the leader in one of his experiments — one, because he had little use for damaged goods, and two, because he figured it would be best to use it for bait. Bait that shan't be disturbed by the jaws of a feral beast, no matter how much he thought he adored his transformed son. "If they want his body, they can trade us for it. We need food. Herbs. A fair trade, i'm sure."

What he did he did for his own survival and that was it. There were things he would cross to ensure that he would be okay. He had to be okay. His body shuddered then and he closed his eyes a little as he heard Benny's voice. Overachiever? What did he mean by that? His head lifted up and he heard the male speak about this guy being a leader. Confusion flicked across his eyes and he felt sick to his stomach. A leader? "I didn't know..." His voice trailed off as he looked to the body of the beast, actively ignoring the strange and otherworldly creature trying to take a bite out of his kill. He didn't care as it didn't affect him. Instead he wondered at how he had managed that. He just thought he was...just someone. A frown pulled at his muzzle before he jerked his head up when he heard Esklav's voice. Stumbling back a little bit from the body he watched the other who had spoken about a job well done. He didn't feel like it was such.

He felt worse than he had before but he justified it. It had to be done and he had to show he was worth something and not something to be drug through he mud when they felt it was appropriate. Clutching the heart to himself the male looked at his leader before he spoke up softly. "Esklav, do you have any jars? I need them if you have them to spare.."

Stryker had never expected someone to actually manage capturing and taking a hold of a leader, but it seemed as if this one did. Intrigued, the male had arrived late with a narrowed gaze and a low growl reminiscing. "I don't know what you guys expect from this Purge other than raids," he commented. His tone was now down, but instead rather enthused. Truthfully, the lion was excited. "Especially after..." Craning his head, he gestured towards Bastilleprisoner's corpse. "This." Another one bites the dust, he supposed. Soon enough a new Ascendants leader would have to step up to the throne unless this one decided to arrive out of the grave.

"Nevertheless, sweets," came his sudden cockiness, "Nicely done." With a flick of his split tongue and a wink, he aimed to offer a playful shove (a light one) towards Valkyr. It seemed as if they needed to get to talking.
