There it was. Thea's grin grew wider, and pupils constricting as something almost unnatural flashed in her eyes, and she had begun to dematerialize as Oni snapped at her, planning to hit him from behind, and hard, when she soldified again, confusion flashing over her features.

This miscalculation on her part was what led to Oni's attack landing, and Thea let out a startled yelp, something she was unused to hearing in this form, and aiming to send a harsh blow to his ribs in an attempt to knock the wind out of Oni, so he would hopefully let go, even with injury to a paw.

Onision was anything but a bad opponent for her. Somebody who wouldn't hold back, that was what the young Fireball craved, a challenge.

Anything to stop this feeling of hopelessness and uselessness that took her over once before. No, she never wanted to feel that way again. And becoming stronger was the best way to do it.

Sitting Thea down and trying to explain things to her just wouldn't work. On some things, sure, but some of her beliefs had to be beaten out of her by stronger opponents, or just by tragedy itself, maybe.

God damn it. Just one day. That was all the patience he had needed from Thea, and then he could set these two up in a nice, educational spar to get all of that fiery energy out. But Bastille probably should assumed that something would go wrong with his plan, so he honestly didn't know why he was surprised to discover Thea attacking his Fireball when he returned from patrol that afternoon. He paused, taking in the scene briefly (the protests from those around seemed to suggest that not even Oni was interested), and then sighed. Was this how Starry felt dealing with his dumb ass? Gods, Bast felt old and he was only 13 months.

[b]"Alright, assholes, let's break it up. Now you're going to make me delay my tournament again, because Oni needs to heal and you don't deserve it," he griped, sounding vaguely bored. He had absolutely no expectation that Thea would listen to him, although Oni might, and therefore he resorted to being an asshole. That was to say, water erupted between the two of them, physically blowing the Fireballs apart from one another. Taking a neat step between them, Bast drawled lazily, "Anyway. Oni, let Peri look at that leg, for gods' sake; Thea, chill."

It was like everything else in the world came to an abrupt halt as his attack landed, the brown lupine catching sight of paws shooting out to try and hit him. Fortunately for him, Oni hadn't gotten hit too hard, nails piercing the skin of his thick-furred side as blood drippled onto the ground in small driplets.

Thea didn't take the wolf's offer of mercy. She needed to be defeated now. In the wolf's eyes, she was an enemy. So, while she was kicking out against him, he let go of the paw he held, jaws outstretched in a loud snarl as he lifted a large paw up, aiming to bring it down upon the girl's shoulder in an attempt to leave a pretty bad open shoulder wound. If this attack landed, any retaliations would leave his face and upper body vulnerable to attack in this moment.

But then, water seperated himself from Thea, and the feral wolf let out a frustrated snarl of rebellion. Cold blue eyes searched around, soon locating the cause of this wall stopping him from getting his meal. Oni, in the back of the unconcious mind, watched silently as Bast tried to stop the fight.

But it didn't. The wolf wouldn't stop. In a slow walk forward, Oni's wolf form feigned a look of defeat as he limped over to Bast. When the time was right, Oni then launched out with teeth bared, attempting to bite down on his scruff so he could toss Bast out of the way, away from a fight that wouldn't be stopping.

Eternal's massive frame shuddered as she roared aloud - hopefully enough to make people second guess their dumb asses - and heaved itself up and forward at frightening speed aiming to kick out and pin the wolf [member=1268]ONISION.[/member] under one massive foot whilst aiming to sweep out deadly claws and cinch [member=138]THEA[/member] to catch the other instigator of this shitstorm

The feeling of skin ripping open was not a pleasant feeling, but for some reason, it was a bit of a welcome one, for Thea, a snarl ripping through her body as she felt blood drip down her leg, matting her fur and staining the grass below. Putting an uncomfortable amount of weight on her now-injured side, she took the chance she was given, a paw flashing out, aiming to score claws down the wolf's face. Before she could try and push her claws in deeper, maybe rip out an eye, the blast of water knocked her away, claws quickly grabbing ahold of Thea.

"Idiots? Us? No, you're the idiots. Mind your own fucking business, you oversized lizard!" She snapped, unimaginable fury in the female wolf's eyes at the fight being interrupted, pupils constricting as she struggled to get out, dematerializing a bit as she attempted to teleport out of Etty's grasp, before soldifying again.

Blood, all he could smell and taste was his own blood as his right eye was cut roughly by a sweep of her paw. His vision in that eye went black, and as Etty held Oni's wolf form down with a paw, he growled loudly, struggling under the spinosaur's grasp. He was pissed off, it was obvious by the feral snap of sharp jaws as he attempted to latch onto one of Etty's digits, shaking his head side to side.

Maybe Bastille should be less surprised that Oni had no intentions on listening to him. It was probably entirely bold of him to assume that he would, but he was unfortunately surprised nonetheless when his Fireball lunged for him; he should have moved, but Oni took him off guard, and the best he could do was twist and land on his paws neatly, his surprise giving way to annoyance and said annoyance rapidly turning into lost patience. He would have to take this up with the little shits later, but in the mean time he took one look at how they were struggling against Etty's hold and exhaled slowly. Little shits.

His gaze flickered between the two Fireballs briefly, and then he focused first on Onision, attempting to force himself into his thoughts — assuming that the Fireball had very little mental training thus far, and weak defenses — and knock him the fuck out with a quick twist of telepathy. He could go after Thea after he had confirmation Oni was out of commission; that werewolf gene was the bigger threat of feral, here, while Thea was just... like that.

Alex winced when the fight took off, blows thrown in both directions and actual damage resulting from the sudden fight. He had taken a step back when the werewolf had made an appearance, something that only increased the irritation he was trying to suppress for the sake of not instigating this as it was. Thea didn't have to poke at Onision, did she? This could have been avoided entirely, right? This was useless.

He looked up at Etty as she tried to interfere, managing to at least hold down Oni, but of course Thea had her damn powers to run with. Ah, he hated that wolf form, the feral aggression made him sick. He let out a sigh, leaning on the side of Eternal, muttering a small "I hope you don't mind me."

"Idiots? Us? No, you're the idiots. Mind your own fucking business, you oversized lizard!"

"What "business", Thea? You started a fight in a public setting with no real cause. You have no business." While he kept his voice as level as ever, it still gave away frustration in the form of being absolutely monotone. Anything beyond that would exhaust him, as with any extreme emotion. But he was determined to speak his mind, at least once. He glanced to the side once at the squirming canine, snapping at Etty and attempting escape. "You did not need to aggravate Onision. Haven't you caused enough stress? No one is going to kiss your ass and tell you how strong you are."

His head hurt. Onision could faintly hear the voices of Alexander and Bastilleprisoner, but the brown feline merely remained curled up tightly in the back of his mind. Of course, with Bast's attempts at telepathy, the brown wolf conked out almost immediately, head lolling to the side. Soon, what laid in its place was the bleeding form of Onision, single good eye opening momentarily. It was true how he didn't have any control over his wolf genetics, the wolf being an entirely different entity than he was, but he could faintly see the look of irritation on Alex's face from a distance.

God, he was in trouble again.. What was this called? Ah, right.. in-fighting. He'd have to confront his wolf later.. Get a name out of the vicious thing, find more out.. Later. He was tired.
