goldenluxury "goldie" roux — female — the typhoon — tags
the exhaustion and loss of blood was really getting to her now. it grew with each moment, slowly, but its pace quickened now. she was too tired and overwhelmed. everything that had just happened could not process through her head properly and everything that was happening now only made it worse. there was so much going on, her thoughts went by too fast for her to grasp onto them and everything was starting to feel like fuzz.
something very familiar would push past the fuzz and enter her senses quickly, though. she knew her papa's scent better than any other, and his voice was one she listened to more than anyone else. her attention drifted fully to the male as he spoke, his familiar voice now filled with an unfamiliar sound. the sound of fear. she has done this to him. she has caused him to feel fear and now if she's not careful she will cause him to hurt, too.
she was an awful daughter, and she did not deserve his love, but still she desired it so heavily, especially now. goldenluxury was truly selfish, she believed, but she wanted him. she wanted him to hold onto her. she wanted him to tell her that everything was okay, that papa is here. so, she forced herself to move one of her front paws, shaking heavily and struggling with the movement. she reached out for his face, her movements slow and weak. "sorry." she repeated, whispering the word.
paper's voice cut through, though, and she seemed to panic more at his words. this was the question she did not want to hear. she had to lie. "n-no-" she started, but stopped. she did not want to lie. but, she had to. she had no choice. "um, a-a p-pan-panther," the way she said this, though, was almost immediately clear she was lying. her voice wavered and she visibly panicked as she uttered the word. she avoided eye contact with anyone.
she glanced to cap as he arrived, hoping the boy is alright. she was sort of glad he passed out, so he didn't have to see this. and, she was already overwhelmed, so it helped, even if it was one less person to talk to and distract her.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
