Artemis sighed, her eyes stinging. Her brother...well, thankfully the flea bag was here with her, as evidenced by the warm glow from the fire nesteled in his left eye socket. The black, multieyed molly sighed at the sight of him. Whincing as her gaze traced the claw marks decoraring his tiger like pelt.
They had escaped. Or rather, ran away. Yes, ran away was the correct way to put it.
Sighing, the demon returned her gase to the marshy lands, unsure of what to do next.
They had flown from home, a nice place out in the desert, and now, where here. She couldnt remember much of what had happened. Maybe she would remember later, but the past wasnt important now. It was the future and present which nagged the feline like annoying nats. The very thought of them stung her eyes, obsuring her vision. For the firist time since she was a kit, the molly was frightful.
Sure, she had the dizzying, infurating curse of wanderlust that had embeded itself deep inside the two siblings, but she was much more...unwilling than her brother. Apollo took everything in his great, confadent and unfounded strides. A feat his shadowy sister could never fathom. Artemis often joked fear was not in his vocabulary, that he trusted to easily and didnt prepare. He ,in turn, had always shrugged, and agreed though a spark of the familar words 'and you do that too much!' Always Flickered in his eyes. But now...well save for the nicked ears and empty stomachs, the two hadnt changed.
Artemis tasted the air, now aware of her surrounds. Ah. A territory? She abruptly stopped, her pelt pickling and head still in the past.
Apollo paused besides her, ploping down qutie noisily and licking his paws. When his sister didnt call out, he did.
"Hello? We're looking to join. Or just for any food that can be spared."
