[div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;color: #E0EEEE;"] Argus felt something in the pit of their heart at the smile the late medic had given them. It was enough to feel their own smile hitching, as if attempting to hide the fact that their eyes might've sparked a brighter shade than the ever normal dulled red that seemed to bleak their complexion.
But their crewmates has come in to hide that all, and the little voodoo master-to be that argus had taken to mentally calling them before divided their attention. Enough to allow argus to think clearly. Just enough time to take note of the way lillypoise seemed to stiffen when pincher approached. The stuttering words of their friend made their senses sharpen and for a moment- vision tint ever so slightly.
Argus has never cared for leadership, and while they respect pincher- it is only their mutual respect for one another that keeps Argus in line. They respect Pincher and his welcome into the typhoon long ago. And for that they do not step up and become more of an obvious threat in line. But they have always valued their friends more than they have their authorities. Argus moves, subtlety stepping up slightly to interfere with picnher's gaze. It is not a challenge, not yet, but it has the attempt to become one.
" The past is in the past, i do believe the saying goes." Argus offers to the conversation, attempting to pull attention. "Whatever happened between you two was not enough for you to be exiled, lilypoise. This can still be your home if you want it to be." They are not disobeying pincher in saying this. Not yet at least. Lillypoise had come here and offered an apology, and their intentions have yet to tell a lie, if... If lilypoise came here to betray them than argus would be the first one to make an example of them. Not because Pincher told them to but because Argus does not tolerate double crossers. They are ruthless in that regard.
