It was time to return to their roots. Or whatever the fuck that meant. Pincher just had grown tired of living in the treehouses and slipping in and out like some sort of nomad group that was trapped inside a tiny landscape of territory that had once been so vast and opportunistic. The flood had forced everyone to live among each other in close quarters and he had noticed the tensions, his worry growing that they might end up killing each other if they stayed up in those trees for too long. His long forked tongue slipped out of his coffee brown muzzle as he tasted the tang of the air, noticing that the salty scent had become more faded which meant that the tide was finally in a decent retreat. He stepped out his own treehouse that he shared with Goldenluxury, his cyan blue eyes flickering over his shoulder as he worried that she might still be tired to move. He wouldn't mind carrying her but the male was worried that he might drop her when going down the stairs though he could place her in a basket as well as Coldblue.
"Everyone, listen up! The tide seems to have returned to it's normal position and I think it's time for us to return to the main camp and see what we can salvage and what needs repairing. I know that weapons will be destroyed or taken so I will need someone to create new weaponry. Herbs have been damaged as well and I suggest someone to make a herb search. Beach huts will probably be damaged as well so if you need to reconstruct your home, you will have the time to when we arrive. Now let's go before it get's dark." With that, the obsidian colored canine began to walk down the stairs of the treehouses to reach the ground, grimacing ever so slightly when he realized it was still rather drenched with the salt water that had flooded the area. Yet the male pushed forward towards the direction of Barracuda Bay, his velvety ears pricked to catch anything out of the blue as he stepped out of the vegetation and into the familiar beachside.
Except it wasn't really familiar. Dead decaying fish and other sea animals littered the area as well as piles of kelp and seaweed. Driftwood impaled sand also carried possessions that had been lost to some crewmates. Pincher noticed that one of them had been a spyglass, gold and had his initials carved into it. He inspected it with a soft sigh of relief when he noticed that only a few nicks had taken place onto the item. He glanced around towards the rest of the crew that had decided to return with him as he stated "I suggest searching for anything you lost here. Try to salvage whatever you believe is necessary." Pincher glanced at their damaged ship, her long sails hanging awkwardly due to the water that had impacted them. He bit back a curse as he mumbled under his breath, "We've got a lot of work to do."
( the crew is back to barracuda bay! the area is littered with lots of fish/sea creatures, possessions, etc. you can have y/c look around and try to find anything they may have lost in the tsunami! )
