that was the issue with cherry. he suffered from an almost constant loss of memory. he could really only remember so far into the past. the feline didn't even remember being a child, which unsettled him a bit. what if he never was a child? that'd be trippy.

regardless, cherry wanted to become more acquainted with his surroundings. but the issue was finding someone to help him. it was a little hard for him to adjust to a place he'd just appeared nearby a year ago with no recollection of ever even coming there. not like it was a new experience for cherry, but hey. give him a break.

Morgan had a history of following newcomers around, making sure they were alright on their own in the dangerous territory. This time he was tailing Cherrypaw, who he had met for the first time only a short while before.

The samoyed approached him at the edge of the town, donning his mask to hide his worried expression. "Cherry," he said, stepping forward. "If you're going into the forest and swamp, I'll come with you. It's dangerous to go in alone." He headed into the forest entrance first, sensing around for any lurking creatures. Thankfully, there were none so far.

" oh, m..." cherry frowned. " wait. no. don't tell me. uh. ...mo... l..." he was stumped. " anyway. are you here to like... uh. help me?"
