"'My life.'" Her she was, echoing her wife again. "Mea vita." Her pronunciation was a bit off, but she had tried. She quickly filed the words away, holding onto them close. Those words had hit a cord within her, and she fell in love with them the moment Margaery spoke them. They had been so soft, so kind. It made her heart swell and burst.
She matched Margy's grin as the other stood back, finally allowing Suite to stand once more. She did stand at the chocolate point's side, close enough to just barely touch. Upon receiving the other's thought, she would respond with, 'Me too. She's good though. She's doing really well actually.' Her final thought was quickly added as she took note of the Starstruck Guardian's sadness. No, there did not need to be any of that here today. Not anymore than was already present, that was.
She laughed at Rosegarden's words. "Hey, you're okay. 'm just teasing you." The russet feline, she knew, had only really been frightened upon first meeting her. Suite's then intimidating stature always surprised everyone at the beginning. It was something she had been at odds with for a long time, but now, that task seemed easy.
She opened her mouth to say more, but her eyes caught the look Rose threw at Bastille. A tight frown formed on her lips. It was in this moment that she desperately wished she had telepathy so she could explain the situation. Rosegarden had the right to be confused and possibly angry, yes, but it was only because she did not know the full extent of the situation. Suite expected nothing less from the grieving boy turned leader. He had too much weight on his shoulders to carefully plan his every little expression. So, instead, she simply shook her head minutely. "Thanks, girlie," she did say, presenting a smile to Rosegarden.
Bast's icy cerulean eyes caught her easily. Some odd emotion was concealed within them, but she could not quite make it out. She believed it to be some strange mix of bittersweetness and confusion. Whatever it was, she could liken his expression with that of seeing a ghost. A quizzical look surfaced on her own features, but she quickly dismissed it.
"I can't believe you're finally taller than me again," she sighed in amusement, attempting to defuse this whole horrible situation. She intertwined her tail with Margaery, a sign to let her wife know Bast did not hate her, before adding, [color=#73B1B7][b]"Damnit, I think you got taller too. I wish you and Haze couldn't waited a little bit. I feel so old. And tiny."
