    the comment made him chuckle and he tilted his head. at least you know it. he replied before slowly standing. shaking his pelt out awkwardly. ears twitching at her offer of a hunt. he had hunted as a horse, though many found that odd. so, he offered a nod. may as well take this body for a spin, yeah?

she rose lithely to her paws, mirth dancing in her optics as she watched him awkwardly shaking out his fur. "you'll get used to it eventually, agri. and hopefully you get used to this body before you somehow turn into something else that we'll have to learn again." she said the word 'we' so nonchalantly, that both of them would have to adjust to living with agrimony as another animal, that it shocked her a little bit. shaking her head she mumbled some random filler text and  padded a direction that was most certainely not the direct exit of the camp. "the fastest way we'll get you used to it is if we move in unconventional methods - climbing, duciking under things and so on. we'll also test your smelling ability, alright?" she knew her scent would already be dizzyingly sweet to him as she stood so close, so she was looking forwards to seeing how he could smell other things. and who said she'd make it easy for him to hunt? she'd make noise, of course!

    as she rose to her paws, he let his eyes scan her from a new angle. the woman was even more beautiful when they were eye to eye. i hope i don't change into anything weird. like a starfish. he replied with a chuckle. as she moved, he followed in line. she was in teacher mode and he fought hard to stay in student mode.

climbing will be new. then again so will ducking under things. i have never had to. he paused at her mention of smell. would it be different as a cat? she had to know best. hmm.. where will we start?

she chuckled as he wished not to become a starfish. "don't say your wishes out loud or you'll jinx them! plus, if you turn into a starfish you'll be my starfish. i'll make a tank and keep you in it and feed you and take care of you until you can change into something else. or i'll make a pouch that you can live in and bring you around with me." she lifted a shoulder, scratching furiously at a bit of muscle, then twitching her ears and sniffing. "well whatever it is i'll take care of you." she said nonchalantly, looking back at him with a cheeky grin, curling her tail.

"never had to duck under anything?" she chuckled. "start ducking then!" the laugh grew louder and she started running, navigating over and under obstacles with ease, years of practise aiding her movements.

    her chuckle and then comment made him frown. would he become a fish now? that would suck a bit. well, at least i know i'll be safe. he mused with a snort at her comment. though with my luck i'd be stuck for ages. he was smiling that cocky smile as he spoke. clearly amused.

and then she would run. a startled look on his face, then he took off after her. paws thumping the earth as he tried to duck. bumping and running into a few things. he was no where as good at it as she was, but soon he was getting the hang of ducking and leaping. only bumping or tripping a few times more.

"though if you become a fish i might eat you!" she joked. "keep you nice and warm in my belly." she laughed, the sweet sound ringing through the air. out of her peripheral she watched him slowly getting used to his body more and slowed down her pace until she was quite close to him, then stopped, hoping to catch him off guard so he'd crash into her or run past her. "time to hunt, agrimony." she'd laugh. the forest would be silent after their noise died down, and she took a deep breath.

    the comment of eating him made him faulter and trip. he toppled forward and landed just shy of running her over. a bewildered look in his eyes. he knew it was a joke, but the thought was a tad scary. she then mentioned it was time to hunt and he slowly picked himself up from the earth.

he shook out his fur and let his eyes find hers. i'm ready. he offered as he took in a deep breath and twitched his ears. seeking any sounds at all. he knew hearing was a good tool, and one he could trust.

her joke made him trip over and she giggled, flicking her tail wildly. she gave him a reassuring smile after he said he was ready. she watched him begin to listen for any noises, using both his nose and ears at the same time. good he was using both, theyÄd provide very useful for everything in the future, to be fair.

    the male would listen a bit longer until a faint sound caught his attention. he turned his head towards it and tried to crouch. almost like instinct, though he was not very balanced. he would let his eyes scan for movement before taking a step. not very silent and the rabbit burst into a run. he gave chase but lost sight shortly and stopped. looking annoyed.

his crouching seemed instinctive and her ears twitched in delight. however, all else failed and he soon stopped giving chase after startling the prey. she followed at a quick pace but stopped when he did, butting her head against his shoudler as he looked dejected. "hey, it's okay. there's a lot to look out for when you're hunting. you'll learn quickly though, i'm sure of it. let's try again, come, we'll switch to a different location." she smiled at him reassuringly. hunting was quite difficult, there was wind direction to consider that would drive your scent towards the prey or vice-versa, there were so many things that could alert your sound to the other animal. agrimony would learn quickly.
