some very quick notes about this guy so i don't forget how to roleplay him ( because trust me, it happens ) : very manipulative in nature, sly, cunning, and gives zero shits about those outside of his family. can be seen as two-faced, a wolf in sheep's clothing, and is often described as such. "traitorous," "serpentine," "conniving," and "slippery" accurately describes him the most. super hush-hush about himself and his past; you'll have to kill him to get him to reveal anything. most people find themselves to be immediately uncomfortable around akuma, primarily because he always has this knowing look in his eyes and, in general, seems kind of criminal. arrogant, narcissistic, uncaring, brutal - unsympathetic yet somewhat emotional, cold, doesn't have patience with "idiots" ( the grand majority, according to him ). two words: compulsive liar.
. + mysterious, and oddly enigmatic. he likes to prey on naive people the most, but he'll play around with headstrong/strong-willed figures because it's "more fun to break them down." he likes interesting folks - doesn't bother with people he thinks are "boring" or "ordinary"
. + akuma is a very very bitter man. he has a lot of regrets but he lets things fester inside of him until all of its ugly contents spill out, allowing him to show who really lies under the playful facade he holds up. very petty, will hold onto grudges as if his life depended on them. good luck trying to make him forgive you for whatever you've done to him. he doesn't like you? better run. he will gladly torment the lives of his enemies and he doesn't care who he hurts in the process. unforgiving, ruthless, vengeful.
. + despite seeming like an inherently evil character, akuma is much more than what he seems to be. he lies so much, he's allowed himself to believe in his own lies and thinks he is deserving of a lot of the bad stuff that has happened to him in life. he lets others see him as a villain because he honestly believes they are the most remembered and wants to be as such and not forgotten. spiteful towards himself, self-destructive. he actually used to be somewhat of a decent person. to what degree? no one really knows - he never speaks of the past to anyone, not even that of his own children.
