[align=center][div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — first off, what the fuck? she was just going for a walk and now she stuck with two big ass lizards that honestly shouldn't even be alive. weren't those shits extinct? she couldn't tell if her heart was beating in anger or fear, maybe it was a mixture of both. her eyes traveled from hazel, a panicked feline, to suiteheart, owen, and echo. all in confusion, worry, and a whole lot of dumb emotions. however, the moment that feral trash moved forward to grab echo, the canine had lurched forwards. "hey!" this was dumb. oh my god this is dumb. why was she moving forward? maybe if she could distract the indoraptor, it would give echo enough time to...um...god she doesn't know! enough time to take him by surprise? however, now there was more yelling. great! just what she had wanted! turning her head towards owen, she almost choked. on her spit. first he has these dangerous raptors himself, and now this thing was coming in. and he...he stabbed it. oh my god. no. no, that didn't matter. echo was getting hurt. in truth, she couldn't do much but it didn't matter. anything helped, right? so, without thinking, adelaide had moved in closer, aiming to bite and tear at any soft flesh she could reach to help echo out.

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; padding: 10px; height: auto; overflow: auto;"][div style="width: 400px; padding: 0px; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial;"]this was certainly turning out to be interesting. being attacked from all sides; though the feeling of having someone hanging on to his neck (how did they even get there?) and some dog nipping at his ankles was certainly annoying, he didn't let himself get distracted. he bellowed proudly when he tasted echo's blood and raised his head to the air, but just before he could do anything, a knife plunged into the skin next to his eye. he screeched in anger and took a staggering step back before swinging his head around, aiming fling echo at owen.

his next move was to rid himself of his current annoyances. after dropping echo he aimed a swift kick at adelaide to get her away from him, hissing at the stinging from her bites, then switched his focus to thea, still holding on to his neck. the 10 foot beast dropped his paws to the ground and shook himself aggressively to try and dislodge her, though if that didn't work, indo then threw himself to the ground and attempted to crush her beneath his weight. the raptor rolled back to his feet then and grounded himself. his jaws stretched in a roar, warning them to stay away, but also challenging if they dared to come for him again. the mutated beast lashed his tail and clicked his sickle-like claw in the grass and released a loud hiss at the group.

Thea went flying as the indoraptor shook himself to get rid of her, and managed to teleport seconds before hitting a nearby tree, a safe distance away, back arched a bit, and pale blue eyes sparking in excitement as she unsheathed her claws.

What had she been afraid of again? Losing? No. The blood rushing through her veins made her forget her doubts. More of the old Thea was there with a bubbly grin at the indoraptor's roar. "Maybe you shouldn't have come here! Little bitch!" The slur was said a bit quietly, with Thea being unsure if she was using it correctly. She had picked it up, probably from Suite or some NPC. Glancing at the polar bear, she asked, "Is that how you use that word?"

Even if she didn't receive her answer, she'd disappear from view, and she would reappear above the raptor, aiming to slam her unsheathed paws into the knife wound, hoping to widen it.

A challenge. Blood roaring through her veins, and that cheerful grin on her face.

Owen grunted, yelping in pain when he felt Echo's massive body crash into his own, rattling every bone in his body. His leg hurt, shit. "Wait! Thea, don't attack it anymore!" Owen tried to howl out to the child, shaking his head to rid himself of the dizziness inside of it. God, remind him never to be smothered by a 1,000 pound utahraptor ever again.

Managing to pull himself out from under his raptor child, he nudged the femme with his muzzle. He was favoring his back right leg. It was probably broke, he didn't know. It hurt like hell, though. With a loud click of his muzzle, the Alpha limped forward, trying to exude an air of non-aggression. He was going to either get the shit bit out of him, or make a friend here and now.

"Hold on, boy. It's alright, calm down!" Came the deep, abrupt bark of the german shepherd as his ears swivelled to hear for anything else. Adelaide. Then, he felt pain rush through his body. Gods. She was hurt. "Get out of there, princess." Owen snapped to the wolfdog-borzoi mix, amber eyes narrowed. "Nobody attack, I want everyone to stay away from the fucking Indoraptor before we all die."

As she was hurled in Owen's direction, Echo would let out a loud screech as her entire weight landed a top the wolf. Angered, she would get up and decide to stay by Owen's side, as she was determined to keep her Alpha safe above everyone else here.

it was almost the same here. though he hadn't known what thea did to get on him in the first occurrence, it clicked in his mind that she could somehow move from place to place when her form disappeared. orange eyes darted above him and he moved his head to the side, considering snatching her out of the air for a moment, but his thoughts were interrupted by owen's barks. indo simply side-stepped to avoid the child's attack, attention now focused on the german shepherd as he slowly approached.

the beast's lip curled slightly. that tone of voice again. he hated the way these creatures spoke to him, just the same as his captors had. it grated on his nerves, being treated like some dumb animal. despite being unable to form words, he was smart enough to understand their language, to pick up on their body language and stupid behavioral habits. here, though, he didn't attack. only growled out a warning to owen and echo, shifting his stance, mildly curious as to what the "raptor tamer" had to say. indo's eyes narrowed to slits as he watched the canine.

[align=center][div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — it would have been dumb to not anticipate pain when attacking an indoraptor. or really, anything. the moment she was kicked off, she swore she heard her own ribs crying. there was a new soreness centered solely in her torso and with her sharp movements in getting up, it was clear that this wasn't a minor injury. sure, maybe someone else would have realized this was a bad idea. especially in her state, already weak from exhaustion and lack of food. adelaide was not one of those people. the moment she considered relaxing was quickly swept away by owen's words.  "fuck off and learn to accept help fuckface. just get that thing out of here i will beat you up." her own snarl with heterochromatic daggers for eyes. she, like everyone else (it's only her in this god forsaken world) had doubted owen. he may have tamed three oversized snakes with arms already, but this was different. and he was dumb. frankly, she wasn't looking to see a dead body tonight. however...when she looked into the feral raptor's eyes...there was something more to them. they held an intelligence the other raptors seemed to lack. "hey! fucker! good job. you're a smart boy, huh?" well, why not try the dumbass approach?

"Will you shut up already, prima donna?" Owen snapped to Adelaide, annoyance being sent over to the other girl in obvious waves. While he had the hots for that damn woman, she needed to keep her mouth fucking shut before she got her shit stomped in by a indoraptor.

Well, it was obvious he could understand their language, though. He was incredibly intelligent, something which made Owen confused. Factory-made raptors.. Ah, shit. "Do you come from a bad place, man? Obviously, you're mutated, and incredibly intelligent, at that." Owen spoke loud enough, his tone not demanding in one bit. This raptor had to find some way to get out of its cage, after all. Mutated, hybrid. Whatever it was, the indoraptor wasn't going to get very far with the teenage angst. Not with Owen.

"You're not meant to be caged, bud. You're meant to be free, but you can't go killing everyone you want." He spoke to the large raptor like a normal being, for once. Unlike Delta and Echo, he couldn't play authority with this big guy. He didn't want to become this guy's Alpha, but he did want to become friends. "Let me fix your eye, man. You took all of us off-guard."

hah. she had no idea. at the quip, the giant raptor glanced adelaide's way, the edges of his lips curling into an eerie smile. he gave an amused chitter before returning his focus to owen; though he didn't sense any ill intent from the male, he still growled out another warning, not trusting his words. "bad place." it was obvious, wasn't it? the dog seemed to confirm it himself with his next statement. indo's lip twitched slightly as the other's tone shifted into one he had heard among his captors when they spoke to each other. 'normal.' finally he was spoken to like he wasn't some idiot creature, lacking sentience or brains to understand them. most of the beings he came across thought of themselves as gods, the most intelligent beings, and treated him like a feral creature.

granted, he was feral, but that was besides the point. he rumbled in annoyance at owen, defiant to the way he told the mutated beast that he couldn't go killing whatever he wanted. who said he couldn't? the dog wasn't his alpha, nor would he ever be if indo had a say in it. the raptor, however, made no attempt to attack him or protest to the offer of getting the knife out of his face. he could undoubtedly get it out on his own, but he would humor the male this once.

with a low chirp, indo settled onto the ground, eyes never leaving owen. his lip still curled as the shepherd edged closer, still telling him that he would bite if he did anything other than remove the knife. he hated to play tame, but sometimes you had to do things you didn't like to get things accomplished.

"Hey, princess. Guess who agrees with you for once." Teased Owen smugly as he slowly, cautiously, walked over to the massive indoraptor, trying his best to be as gentle as possible when taking the knife out. "You're just like Echo, then. She's just, unable to understand our language like you can. Pretty impressive, man." Owen mumbled, cleaning his knife off before backing all the way back to Echo, his side pushing against her legs to comfort her.

To be honest, he didn't know what to say. He was so used to dealing with feral raptors that couldn't understand all of his language, that dealing with one this intelligent merely made him more curious. "The animals here are all apart of a pack. I suggest not going after them, please." Owen rubbed the back of his head, amber eyes focusing on the girl not far off. "Besides, you don't see too many attractive people very often. Princess over here is one of those few."
