the past few days, night had been working nonstop. cleaning. hunting. herb collecting. anything he could do, he had been. he waned the attention. the gratitude. so, he worked for it until he forgot himself. he hadn't been sleeping. he hardly ever slept as was, but the work load broke him. he was headed back to camp with a basket of food.

his paws softly thumping the ground as he moved along. but his pace was beyond slow. his eyes were heavy as were his steps. he needed to rest, but he was forcing himself to carry on. he wouldn't be surprised if he collapsed after dropping this off. as soon as he set that basket down, he lay on the ground nearby.

eyes closed and taking a moment to himself. anyone that wanted this food was welcome to it. the trip was long, but worth it.
