ATTICUS ROUX
For some time now, the trio (one unwilling) had been following Elsweyr's spark of flames to The Pitt. He had walked next to Sweeney's side for the entirety, often shooting glares towards Jormungand and grumbling underneath his breath. The wait was long. And once they reached the border, Atticus didn't care to stop and walked past with a sigh of relief. He turned on his feet towards the others and noticed their pause to the border, understanding that Elsweyr was not allowed in their home for a reason. Even so, Sweeney's patience at the scent border was in good faith. The wolf merely furrowed his brow. They were home. Could they ditch the politics and go off now?
His attention realigned out towards the horizon as Dante's conflicting tone graced his hearing, causing a disgruntled frown to appear on his maw. "Your head on a pike," he remarked back. Not willing to debate more, his gaze shifted to the rest of the crowd, more specifically on Gael and Aine as they arrived. Aine's comment was directed to Sweeney. Eyeing the medic, he offered a subtle smile towards her and nodded towards Gael and Jold in greeting. His gaze snapped back to Dante and Asmodeous temporarily, noticing his sly tone in regards to the child's so-called 'revenge.' "Dante, if I see you drugging that kid, my previous phrase will become reality."
With his general disdain out of the way, his eyes relocated over towards Sweeney. She was quiet. If he knew what she was saying, he could only agree. Puzzled, he watched as she wandered off. Atticus merely looked towards the crowd one last time and waved his tail in goodbye, only to leave with her moments later.
