Her heart had ached and hurt the moment that Ares had ran away. And she had never been able to forgive for the treatment that had been given to her. She tried to move on from what had happened. Knowing that her daughter was safe even if she was still trying to forgive the group that had enabled what had happened to Tanglewood because of the Coalition. It was tough that much was certain but she didn't want to continue to feel like things were wrong here. Despite it all she just wanted Ares to be happy and to be happy she couldn't be here. At least not before. But she had a chance now if she wanted to come back. There was space for her to come back home. They could make a home here. A family with herself and Arrow. Oh...she had never told her about Arrow.
The war driven lioness moved carefully along the swamp, eyes flicking along the blooming foliage that was starting to spring up. The seasons were changing she guessed but there had not been much of a change in the swamp to begin with. It was mostly neutral. Yet her paws stopped, body stilling as she heard a voice. The familiarity of it making her gaze widen. "Ares?" Her voice muttered out as she finally moved. Nothing would or could stop her from reaching her child and she showed vines and branches out of her way. Emerging onto the border she would stand there, eyes looking down at her child. Hurt and broken, she could read it on her face. What had happened to her? Slowly she moved forward and she lowered her head, pressing her maw on top of Ares' skull. Quietly she stepped back and beckoned her over. Ana was here too but she looked shocked and she looked between the two of them before trying to figure everything out. "She's here. Why is Ares hurt? What happened to her? She is always welcomed to come to Tanglewood. Ah, this is Ana and she lives here too."
