As people approached, there definitely came a weight in his stomach, something like a rock at the bottom of the ocean. His eyes scanned the crowd, ears twitching and rotating, before he spoke. There wouldn't be a lot of fanciful words, he was afraid- Arlo didn't have a lot to say, most of the time. He cleared his throat. "Welcome, everyone- new and old. Those of you who originated in the group I arrived upon, as well as those who appeared after we established our borders officially."
Arlo twitched his ears, nodding to himself as he if approved of that sentence. "I'm glad to see everyone active within those borders. I'm going to be handing out promotions first and foremost, then we'll start looking at other important news." Arlo's eyes shifted about the crowd, his gut trying to get him off of the point. A deep inhale followed, wings shifted and getting ruffled gently. "Damion, you will be stepping up into a Inner Circle position. Welcome to the team."
He looked out into the rest of the crowd. He offered the next two labeled a smile. "Aesior and Cleopatra, I'm asking you two to step up to Talonguards. I see potential, and I'm hoping you'll be able to let it grow." He felt pretty good about those promotions and with that, he gave them a solid nod, moving on to the rest of the meeting. He squared his shoulders a bit- time to get into the nitty gritty.
"There's a few caves to the north of the territory. I'm going to create a patrol and go explore them soon. There might be valuable resources within the caves there." Arlo stated, looking between the group members gathered in front of him. His paws stretched, flexing gently. They were starting to sweat, but he had it handled. "With that in mind, I'll be talking to the Frostbound potentially soon about some kind of alliance. If you have a rejection to this, tell me now."
Arlo paused, letting whoever wanted step in and argue, before continuing on with another point. He'd come back and touch on that in a moment, if anyone did. "If any would like to volunteer to host a biweekly task thread, please let me know! If there's any questions at all now, please speak up."
