Powers, a funny concept that was promptly added to the list of things Danny never would have crossed paths with had he not set foot in the Typhoon's territory, or at the very least it would have been a low chance. He hadn't seen anyone figure out they had any abilities on their own, so he had been under the impression that maybe you were just born with them and figured it out like you would learn anything else someone had a proficiency for. Long story short, he would have expected Vayne to learn about her new found ability earlier on in life than she clearly did. As if that wasn't all confusing enough for the kid, he had no clue how to identify what the hell was going on, and couldn't do much to help to locate someone who did. What a world.
Noticing Vayne was suspiciously quiet and uncharacteristically still, anxiety already began eating away at his nerves that something was terribly wrong. His quickened pace both threatened to shatter his sternum and made him slightly queasy from the sudden jump in speed, a general sick feeling to describe it vaguely. It really was annoying and so inconvenient, his own vital organs turning to little hellions when they smelled fear, especially after he had just gotten breakfast for the day. The one added benefit, though he didn't know it yet, was anxious reactions were so far all instinctual, all gut, head empty. The normally upbeat Cipher girl stumbling into his thoughts against her will would have incriminated him.
"You look more like...like me." Danny admitted, sounding worried. Was she sick? In pain? Neither of which were ideal or really did much to settle his anxiety. He glanced at Lumia for a moment, then back to silently agree with the girl about getting one of the two medics. Brown eyes squinted as he rubbed his chest with a paw from a sudden jab of pain. Not actually his heart that time thank god, but tensed muscles were suboptimal for inhalation. "She isn't dying, stop being stupid."
