So, with a little help from his nephew, the bobcat had managed to get Galaga up onto his back, strolling out of the temple and out towards the beach. He figured that the hatchling would appreciate a bit of sunbathing, considering Michael loved it quite a bit himself, and he wasn't even cold-blooded. Of course, he hadn't exactly been expecting to see Roxie with her head stuck in Kal's mouth when he got down to the shore.
He immediately paused upon coming across her, taking a moment to process what was going on. He obviously knew about how dearly Roxanne loved Kal, and he had always figured she pampered him, but... he hadn't been expecting this. He was broken from his frozen state by the sound of a sharp beep from behind his head, coming directly from Galaga. The hatchling seemed excited to see his father, whacking Michael lightly in the back of the head during his frantic rush onto the sand. A soft sigh left the dealer before he muttered, watching Galaga pull himself forward, "You could've given me a little bit more of a warning, kid..." He didn't hold it against the hatchling, though. Instead, he just gave a light shrug of his shoulders before following Galaga's lead and making his way over to sit nearby.
Unlike Vayne, the thief didn't exactly have much interest in putting his paws anywhere near Kal's mouth. Instead, he remained a short distance away, his tuft of a tail twitching behind him as he muttered to Roxie, "I'd say you're spoiling him... but I'm pretty sure you know damn well that you are." His tone was soft and teasing, and he found himself chuckling again when Galaga reached Kal's maw, shuffling against his father's jaw. Michael muttered then, watching the hatchling make himself comfortable, "I guess this was a good day for me to offer to take Galaga out for a walk... bit of a family visit." Not that Galaga and Kal were particularly kept apart. Roxie wasn't shy about taking Kal places with her, including the temple where Galaga usually resided.
