"they flip the siren, hit the lights" ✭ ── Ouch. Upon contact the first real sound out of Angel emerged, a pathetic squeak as he rolled away from the warmth he’d been getting used to again. Kicked directly in his little baby gut by his own brother, welcome to the world, little guy.

Trying to make the crawl back was too much effort with energy he didn’t have, opting instead to squirm weakly where he was. He did feel something in the darkness created because he couldn’t open his eyes yet, mewling quietly in surprise and putting his little baby paws on Byriath’s own paw as he was pushed back, which of course easily slipped off when the guy moved away to stand by the door. Angel curled back up into the warmth of his mother, blissfully unaware that she had just scoffed at this arrival, and definitely unaware at the warning Inferno posed about the source of food and body heat that he relied on.

And just for itty bitty revenge, Angel used what little energy he’d conserved from being pushed closer rather than moving on his own, [i]and aimed to smack at Asmodeus and catch the skin with his little prickly baby claws. Learn your manners, brother dear.
