Danny had seen the earrings adorning the members of the Typhoon, but never really gave it any thought until now. Mostly because he’d picked up on how it was commonplace, and sometimes someone would walk in without one and walk out with a new shiny piece of jewelry. Piecing the ear looked like it hurt, just thinking about it made him wince and want to rub his own ear, but if he was meant to stay here, eventually it looked like he would have to suck it up and get with the program. Besides, they were at least pretty.

Roxanne’s voice is what disturbed him from his quiet nap, curled up into himself in a secluded corner near the tavern itself, having caught an isolated ray of sun to keep him warm while he continued to be a little recluse. Danny raised his head, unraveling the ball of black fluff and squinted at the light, the sparkling against Vayne’s light fur was almost missed. He caught it, just after a moment of letting his eyes adjust, having just been thrown into a hazy change of sun and audio. ”Looks really nice.” He complimented quietly, leaving most of the talking to the captain and whoever else might stumble across the beta and her new golden accessory. He simply wasn’t much of a talker, especially not in public. Double points for the captain being around. No thank you.
