Aurum hadn't truly processed Seven's death in the hours since she had passed away, but it had taken a toll. He couldn't help but vividly feel the pain that had settled in his chest, remorse over the fact that he hadn't been able to know her better. He had wanted to, but she had needed time. Unfortunately, it had seemed as though she would never get that precious time she needed. Now, though... he was never so glad to be wrong about something.
The call of the frightened girl rang out through the air, and although the tone had changed slightly due to the change in body, it was still familiar. Aurum's head had immediately jerked upwards upon hearing it, gaze wide and surprised as he moved from the edges of town towards the source of the voice. It seemed impossible that she would be back so soon, especially since he had been helping to bury her body only hours earlier. When he arrived, though, sure enough – it was her. Granted, she was in a different form, but it was still Seven inside. Feeling a rush of relief flow through him, the luminary waited for a moment before speaking up, "Like the others said, I'm sure that Moth will be here very soon..." He made no comments about her eyes, but he could certainly see what the issue was. After all, he had dealt with others that were blind in the past. However, saying anything about it right now would do none of them any good. Seven was surely already panicking about it, and while Aurum knew that she could live a good life even with her new condition, he was sure that she didn't feel that way. And she probably wouldn't, at least not for a while.
