Ever since he had stepped up as luminary – and Moth had subsequently been made reaper of medicine – Aurum and Moth hadn't exactly had a lot of time for their old traditions. At one point in time, it had been common for the angel to head over to his sister's home for tea, and they would then sit and chat with each other, simply relaxing. Unfortunately, that hadn't happened as much as of late, especially with the tiger's recent pregnancy. However, he was determined not to just abandon the old tradition entirely. So, on one of the days where he didn't have as many important things to do, he got to baking. He made muffins for himself and Moth, stashing them away in a bag before he headed over to her home. It was hard to keep himself from eating them on the way over, with the delicious smell wafting up to his nose. Still, he managed to persevere.

Once he reached Moth's home, he knocked politely on the door, waiting for about a minute before he pushed it open. When he stepped inside, however, he was surprised not to see Moth. Instead, he had stumbled across Seven curled up in the corner, scribbling down on a piece of paper. He eyed the other various attempts, wincing at where he could see some of them had been ripped. Taking a deep breath, Aurum put down the bag of muffins to the side, moving over to Seven and sitting down. He made sure to give her plenty of space, knowing that she was still nervous around him. As he eyed the "family portrait" she was attempting to make, he questioned softly, "Hey there, Seven. Are you trying to draw a portrait of your family? I know that Moth has essentially taken you in..." He supposed that would make Seven his niece... he didn't have a problem with that. Not as if he saw many of his other nieces, unfortunately.
you can be an angel of mercy, or give in to hate. you can try to fight it, just like every other careless mistake.
