Drayden had yet to feel any sort of emotion similar to love, in both a platonic way and a romantic way. He was far too young to really develop any romantic feelings for anyone at the moment, nor did he really make a lot of friends back in The Typhoon, other than save for maybe a few NPCs. The 'love' he had known was the love his caregiver had given him, after being pushed aside by his own mother, so he wouldn't even know what true motherly love was like, either.

Drayden spoke awkwardly as he came to stand next to Rhinestonestar, having been following the leader to get used to his new home, holding up his disfigured paw close to his chest once he stopped moving.
