[align=center][div style="max-width:450px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify; padding: 10px;"]Thick was the scent of the Coalition upon Sugar's fur, matted and dirty appearance showing hardships through the months she had been gone. Luckily she wasn't hurt more-so as pride wounded and hungry thankfully, but the older female very obviously had a rough time out by herself. She had left to go find her family, to make sure they were okay, and what she had found in return was not something she had liked. They were gone, either taken or dead, with no trace of them around. She couldn't tell if it was because they had been gone so long or if it was just simply a case of them just leaving the planet entirely somehow. All she knew is she hadn't liked what she had seen, and had started to make her way back to her new home with her new family, when she had been knocked out and dragged off somewhere else.
Sugarspice had woken up in a place she had never been before, dark and cold, soon finding out that it was the Coalition, a place that had come to see her home in the past. They had seemed friendly then, but it turned out they had changed in the time she'd been gone. For the worse too. Biding her time, the female played along with what they wanted, eventually finding her own way out of her own little prison she had been given, only to be where she was now, on the border of Palm Glades tired and hungry, hoping that there would be someone she knew still around. She knew it was unlikely that there were a lot missing, but she still worried. Her family's demise pricked at her and made her anxious that the home she had left would be completely different.
Biting the inside of her cheek, the female would look over the border, deciding to sit there for a moment to make sure that they knew she was friendly - she knew she reeked of a different group - before finally calling out. "Hello?" She pricked her ears, head swiveling for a moment to see if anyone was near before continuing. "It's me, Sugarspice... I've come back home." And she would never leave it again.

Sugarspice. It was a name that hadn't been on Rhine's mind in quite a while, although not from lack of caring. Quite the opposite, actually. The legate had cared so very deeply about Suga when the other had been around, with many positive memories of the feline still lingering in the back of her mind. Once, the other had been one of her most trusted confidants. Her friend, and her deputy. Most of all, Suga had been someone that Rhinestone loved, at least in a platonic way - or maybe more, she truly wasn't sure. She had so much on her mind back then... it would've been difficult for her to notice any such feelings, unless they had been willing to hit her right in the face. Hell, it had taken her months before she was even willing to confess to Vaas in some capacity.
Truthfully, the legate had never known if Sugarspice would actually end up returning to The Palm Glades. She remembered well that the other had left to find her family, but beyond that... Rhine had no idea of where she was, or whether she ever intended to return to them. She could've found her family and decided that she was perfectly happy just remaining with them, not wanting to ever return to them. The thought made Rhinestonestar's chest hurt, and she tried not to dwell on it too often. Instead, she threw herself into her work, helping out her friends and family, constantly trying to better her group for the good of them all. And if Suga returned to them... well, she wasn't quite sure how she would react, honestly. All she knew was that she would be glad to have the other back in her life.
The scent of the Coalition was what the canine noticed initially, her ears pinning back as soon as she noticed it. Her claws dug into the ground beneath her, the tasmanian tiger already readying herself for a fight. However, when she heard that call... that familiar voice... she knew that there was nothing to fear. Rhine quickly moved through the trees, rushing towards the border with a crooked grin upon her muzzle that only diminished slightly when she noticed the state that the other was in. Her words were a jumble as she spoke, her tail wagging from side to side behind her, "Suga! Sugarspice... I wasn't sure I'd ever see you again. So much has changed since you left... are you okay? You look... hungry. And you smell like that hellish group." Rhinestone then paused, realizing that she had changed quite a bit since the last time she had seen Sugarspice, as well. Laughing a little, she lifted a paw to scratch at the back of her neck before clarifying, "Ah... I just realized you probably don't recognize me. It's... It's Rhinestonestar. I discovered that I can shapeshift, if it's not obvious..." There was so much more she wanted to tell the other, but she also didn't want to overwhelm Suga so soon after she had come back.

If there was anything Wyvern needed the most right now, it was probably to escape home. She felt bad for her brother, being unable to run around and play with his siblings. Well, not like he did that anyways before he hurt himself. Still, it was still a problem, so she found herself outside of camp. She was walking the fine lines, here, where she believed the adults thought that camp ended, and where it actually did. She fluffed her fur out, however, scenting Rhinestone on the wind. Her head turned.
Flattening her ears, slowly she followed the scent, making sure to creep along the ground and chewing on her cheek ever so gently. She came to a stop, just out of sight of the pair, when she heard what they were talking about. Folded ears pressed forward, her purple eyes intent on the two of them. For now, the small child kept her trap shut, eavesdropping on what probably wasn't something to even eavesdrop on to begin with.

At first confusion swept across her face as the other knew her name, and she took a step back, wondering if she was dreaming or not. She had to have been, considering this colorful canine knew who she was and was excited about it. She was either dreaming or dead. "Y-yeah I've been traveling quite a bit." She would mention, ears pinning to her head before Rhine spoke, and soon enough Sugar's eyes lit up.
There was someone here that she knew, even if she was in a different body. Since she had left, Sugar couldn't stop thinking about those back home that she missed, and at the front of those list of names it was always Rhinestonestar. Rhine was the first one she had seen on the border of the group when she had joined, and had been her best friend here. Or had she been more to her in some way? Sugarspice wasn't too sure about that, but she didn't have time to think, for the second Rhinestonestar had mentioned who she was and what had happened, Sugarspice found herself moving forward quickly, head reaching upwards in a quick manner as an attempt to land a kiss was made, her head empty as her thoughts left her brain.
The second she realized what she did though, she moved back for a moment sheepishly, fur rising on end as she let out a small cough to clear her throat. "It's ah, it's nice to see you again Rhine... we've got a lot to catch up on." Smooth.

Drayden had yet to feel any sort of emotion similar to love, in both a platonic way and a romantic way. He was far too young to really develop any romantic feelings for anyone at the moment, nor did he really make a lot of friends back in The Typhoon, other than save for maybe a few NPCs. The 'love' he had known was the love his caregiver had given him, after being pushed aside by his own mother, so he wouldn't even know what true motherly love was like, either.
"Umm. Hi." Drayden spoke awkwardly as he came to stand next to Rhinestonestar, having been following the leader to get used to his new home, holding up his disfigured paw close to his chest once he stopped moving. The excitement buzzing all throughout Rhine's body made it so that the legate didn't take notice of two things – the presence of Wyvern, or the departure of Mezrith. She probably would've felt a bit bad, had she noticed Mez heading off back towards camp, simply because she knew what the other was feeling. It had been obvious at one point that the other had some amount of feelings for her, and while her own feelings hadn't been shattered by the whole Medusa incident, she wasn't sure Mezrith could ever feel the same. It was a shame, but it was also hopefully something they'd be able to rectify, one day far down the line – or hopefully sooner, but it seemed as though Mez could use some space.
All thoughts of Mezrith and pretty much... everything else, however, flooded from Rhine's mind the moment Suga stepped forward. The thylacine had less than a second to process what was going on before she was kissed, although she was hardly unhappy about it. In fact, a crooked and flustered grin graced the legate's muzzle as Sugarspice stepped away, Rhinestone's tail wagging and thumping against the ground behind her. She couldn't help how cheerful she felt, knowing well that the other's return had brought up emotions that she hadn't felt in some time. As she heard what Suga had to say, a soft laugh left her and she nodded, muttering as she quickly moved forward to try and plant another quick kiss on the former deputy, "Yes, you're definitely right that we do... I'm so glad to see you again." That was the understatement of the century, but she was fairly sure Sugarspice could feel the emotion beneath her words.
Rhine was then only slightly broken from her delighted stupor by the approach of Drayden, although not entirely. She remained close to Suga's side, that same lopsided grin on her face, although she turned a bit to listen to what Drayden had to say. With several soft chuckles leaving her at Drayden's question, she nodded in his direction before turning back to Sugarspice, "Ah... I had almost forgotten. You've got quite a few new faces to meet around here." A massive amount, actually. The group had certainly grown a great deal since their days as a little unknown group at the edge of everything.
